Why would they want any of these guys except for Jaquez. You trade Giannis you're rebuilding. So picks + swaps + young players with potential. Our odds of a trade are super low. It would have to be a 3 teamer where you move Butler or Bam to another team to get the picks + swaps you need to get Giannis. If you wait till summer to move Butler, you won't get much with a year expiring. So it would have to be Bam. The best move would be to move Butler now for what you can get. See if you can cobble enough assets in summer to get Giannis or Fox. If not, move Bam and blow it up

Because they are younger.

What a final deal would might look like, I’d expect it to be complicated and possibly involve another team(s)

The real point of my post is there should be zero hesitation on Mia’s behalf to make the best possible offer they can if it means a chance at landing Giannis.

4 games in and the only way to salvage the season is a miracle Giannis trade that also lands us Damian Lillard?

Holy fawk, we may be in for the worst year since prime Mion' days.

Houston needs to pony up Reed and Jabari for Butler. Rockets would be unbeatable.

Dame, Bam , Herro is a play in team at best. Bucks are not gonna make a move that makes them average or below average. If they move Giannis they go to tank mode.

If they ask Bam, Jaquez, Herro, our picks for Giannis. I'd say go for it. Then build around Giannis.

Top 5 player, 29 years old and still has 5 years left of elite play. Spo will make him another run for MVP again.

Somebody made a real good argument 2 seasons ago that it was time to move on from Jimmy......

he was almost certainly right...

As a fan...I love Jimmy....and I wish Jimmy could get the UD treatment and ride on to the sunset as the old grizzled vet at the end of the bench.....

but

with the salary cap as it is....that is impossible..... and if jimmy does not go hard during games...do we really think jimmy is pushing anyone in practice...?

If jimmy was a 100% guy all the time....maybe we could live with jimmy missing a ton of games knowing he is pushing the younger guys to be their best...and just hope we could get him to the playoffs in one piece .....but...I can't look at a random seasonal game and think we are getting Jimmy's best effort.

It's a shame....but....it really does look like this window is 100% closed.

It’ll be Jimmy going to 2 a 3rd team that really wants him for assets going to the bucks with our picks to unite Dame/Giannis/Bam. As your younger star ages and continues to improve your older guys slow decline is cancelled out. Lillard was our industry plant with the intentions of getting him in Giannis ear about coming here with him.

PAT RILEY WILL GET THIS DONE!!!

Thought it was BS but honestly after tonight I can see there’s definitely something brewing in Milwaukee, they’re probably so sick and tired of Middleton injuries derailing every single season.

Houston/OKC are the only 2 teams with good enough packages to get Giannis. Shai and Giannis would be insane I would give up JDub and Chet plus 5 picks for him easy and get Garry Trent for floor spacing.

Heat:
Giannis Antetokounmpo - $48,787,676
Damian Lillard - $48,787,676

Bucks:
Tyler Herro - $29,000,000
Terry Rozier - $24,924,126
Duncan Robinson - $19,406,000
Haywood Highsmith - $5,200,000
Kel'el Ware - $4,231,800
Jaime Jaquez Jr - $3,685,800
Nikola Jovic - $2,464,200
Pelle Larsson - $1,157,153
All our picks and pick swaps.

Pretty close on salary, but give up a lot of shooting that would make sense with Giannis.

With a trade like that couple of us from this Heat board would have to suit up.

With a declining Dame and 3 people that can't or won't shoot. Heat board better work on their floor spacing.

Whether Milwaukee would even want Bam we can debate, and whether a potential trade with Mil would involve other team(s) whom Bam could be sent to facilitate a complex trade is secondary to my central point.

The question I have for you is do you think Mia should make Bam available in a trade that lands them Giannis?

Here’s a radical one while we’re doing fantasy trades, lets just swap out Jimmy and Bam for Dame and Giannis  send Scary to a 3rd team. Everybody wins, Bucks get competitive pieces and we solve the problem of not having the offensive minded engines driving the team.

This is pie in the sky by the way, pls dont jump out the window

What type of package are you looking at?

Well it's going to have to start with Keldon Johnson and Zach Collins for starters. Couple of 1st and 2nd's. I was looking into the possibility of Sochan but he's been playing really well for them. Maybe get a PG like Tre Jones who's expiring.

Butler
J Rich
Bryant

for

Keldon Johnson
Zach Collins
Tre Jones
2 1st rd picks
2 2nd rd picks

C Zach Collins C Kelel Ware C Kevin Love
PF Bam Adebayo PF Nikola Jovic PF Keshad Johnson
SF Keldon Johnson SF Jaime Jaquez Jr SF Haywood Highsmith SF Pelle Larrson
SG Tyler Herro SG Alec Burks SG Duncan Robinson
PG Terry Rozier PG Tre Jones PG Dru Smith

I really don't like Collins, but someone has to fill out the salary. The real prize would be Johnson and the picks

Lets look at the field goal attempts averages of 1st and 3rd quarter in the last four games when the starters are on the court the most. Who is the offense being run through when the starters are together?

1st quarter
Tyler Herro - 8 pts, 5 fga
Nikola Jovic - 5.5 pts, 3.5 fga
Terry Rozier - 4.3 pts, 3.3 fga
Jimmy Butler - 1.3 pts, 2 fga
Bam Adebayo - 1.5 pts, 1.5 fga

3rd quarter
Tyler Herro - 3.3 pts, 5.5 fga
Terry Rozier - 3.3 pts, 4.0 fga
Bam Adebayo - 4.0 pts, 3.0 fga
Nikola Jovic - 1 pts, 2.5 fga
Jimmy Butler - 2.5 pts, 1.8 fga
