In a nutshell, here's why I'm rather bullish on Kamala's chances:

Georgia and Michigan both have over 90% of their early vote totals from 2020 in right now. Early voting in Georgia ends today, Michigan on Sunday, and while Georgia is more or less done with mail ins (less than 85k remaining out of 3.7 million votes so far), Michigan still has about 500 thousand mail ins when they're a bit over 250k away from reaching their 2020 total

Meanwhile, North Carolina is at almost 80% of their early turnout from 2020, their early in person ends tomorrow

Georgia and Michigan having nearly their full turnout from 4 years ago is a fantastic sign for Kamala, and North Carolina I still think is being dragged down by Mark Robinson, so having high turnout there is really good for her as well

Wisconsin and Pennsylvania are less good when it comes to the comparisons to 2020, both are just a bit over 60% of the turnout from 2020, but neither are concerning for Dems. Plus, when you look into the numbers, significantly more Republicans who voted election day in 2020 are voting early now, meaning any theoretical gains they've made percentage wise in comparison to 2020 is just eating into their election day turnout

And with the reports of Trump outsourcing his ground game to Musk, who is incompetent at best, that's gonna eat into Trump's election day advantage too. I think despite the polls, the signs look pretty good for Kamala, especially with the way the Trump campaign is seemingly panicking, most noticeably about the women turnout who we know have shifted more Dem from 2020 because of Roe being overturned.

Trump’s Horrific Friendship With Jeffrey Epstein Revealed in New Audio

https://newrepublic.com/post/187789/donald-trump-jeffrey-epstein-friendship-audio

A damning, newly released recording exposes just how close Donald Trump was to Jeffrey Epstein.

Explosive new audio reveals that Donald Trump detailed how he really felt about his White House staff to Jeffrey Epstein, and Epstein touted old photos of Trump with half-naked women taken at the site of the pedophile’s rampant sexual abuse of young girls.

On author Michael Wolff’s Thursday episode of his podcast Fire and Fury, Wolff shared a recording of a conversation with Epstein from 2017, in which the convicted sex offender and alleged human trafficker recounted Trump’s true feelings about members of his administration, The Daily Beast reported.

“His people fight each other and then have outsiders—he sort of poisons the well outside,” Epstein told Wolff. Epstein went on to paraphrase Trump’s candid statements about his former strategist Steve Bannon, former chief of staff Reince Priebus, and counselor Kellyanne Conway.

“He will tell 10 people, ‘Bannon’s a scumbag’ and ‘Priebus is not doing a good job’ and ‘Kelly has a big mouth’—what do you think? ‘Jamie Dimon says that you’re a problem and I shouldn’t keep you. And I spoke to Carl Icahn. And Carl thinks I need a new spokesperson,’” Epstein said.

“‘So Kelly[anne]—even though I hired Kellyanne’s husband—Kellyanne is just too much of a wildcard.’ And then he tells Bannon, ‘You know I really want to keep you, but Kellyanne hates you,’” Epstein continued.

Wolff said that he had recordings of roughly “100 hours of Epstein talking about the inner workings of the Trump White House and about his long standing, deep relationship with Donald Trump.”

Epstein also shared photos from the “late 90s” of Trump surrounded by “topless young women” at Epstein’s home in Palm Beach, Florida, where the disgraced financier victimized dozens of underage girls alongside his friend Ghislaine Maxwell.

“And in some of the pictures, they’re sitting in his lap,” Wolff said. “I mean, and, and then there’s one I especially remember where there’s a stain, a telltale stain and on the front of Trump’s pants, and the girls are pointing at him and laughing.”

I find it very interesting that these two were allegedly in communication with each other in 2017.

Nothing burger. Everybody already knows that Trump is a documented rapist and pedophile who likely killed Epstein in prison to silence him after he got busted. This is already baked into his support.

I hope this is all a damn fever dream that's over in a less than a week and we can all tell to our grandchildren one day as a cautionary tale.

And the MAGA crowd ignores this, obv

Which is wild considering that whole pizza gate nonsense. But here they have a coastal elitist billionaire who is convicted of sex crimes and kicked it with the most famous pedophile yet the worship him.

Which leads to there is no rationalizing with these people. They're gone gone.

It honestly feels a lil surreal that this is where we're @ in 2024.

What's terrifying is that the new climate models predict a 4 degree increase of temp in 75 making this place unlivable. The Paris protocal of 2 is now unachievable. Our kids are fcked and were focused on the stupidest sht.

It's maddening.

This includes the "reasonable" Republicans who "hold their nose" and vote for him

If these motherf*ckers will vote for Donald Trump in 2024 vs Kamala Harris or Joe Biden, who are just bog standard Dems, there is no reasoning with them. There is no scenario where they will not vote Republican or even stay home. They are gone, and we should stop trying to reason with them or treat them like they're any different from hardcore MAGA.

There is definitely a selfishness that comes with being a conservative. I work around a lot of em. And that is a core value that they possess. Even when it comes their own family.

One glaring example is they don't care that their kids suffer from shooter drills as long as they can stay strapped to run a weird hero fantasy.

My grandfather has literally told me to my face he doesn't care if things go to sh*t after he dies cause he'll be dead lol

It's legitimately nuts too, because they don't even benefit from Republican policies. They just think everything is a zero-sum game, therefore they need to push other people down because if other people are elevated, it drags them down rather than raising everybody up

Trump is literally running on an economic policy that will make everything cost more while also suppressing wages while Kamala is running on economic policy that gives tax breaks to lower and middle class people (including up to $6k a year in increased child tax credit) and the people who would benefit the most from that are going "yeah but trans people exist and are icky, so I gotta go with Trump here"

Insane.

Sht about your gramps is all too common. And tbh, I think its a fundamental US problem. We really don't have an extended family or community driven mentality. At least here where I'm at. It's very get yours and protect it.

I've seen plenty of dad's count down to when their kids turn 18 to rush em out of the house. And I get it. The freedom but there is also something sinister about it too. They don't want the financial burden. The accountability. And I don't want to dismiss the strain of being a provider. But damn. There is a huge level of selfishness that is on display.

But to circle back to the point. It's insane that we aren't doing anything about our planet cooking. As a dad the guilt becomes overwhelming at times.

The worst part is, we're like a car careening off a cliff, and our two options are lightly tap the brakes or floor it

The sad part is, it wasn't always like this. You can go back to the 80s and 90s, HW Bush was giving speeches about how we needed to do something about climate change, it just couldn't damage "the economy" in the process. It wasn't until the 00s that climate change denialism took hold of the GOP in full force, but now we're at the point where the Dem position is we need to do something about climate change, we just have to make sure not to damage "the economy" in the process.

Over here we're facing a drought and it nearly hit 90 yesterday on Halloween. We need rain badly yet if the rain is too hard there will be flooding due to how dry all of the soil is. We're in a watch for wildfires. In November. Never in my life have I seen it this bad.

And yet, people don't care.

I think back and wonder how things would have been different had Al Gore, who was sounding the alarm on all of this two decades ago, would have won.

They don't. Look at the abortion topic and how they respond when they are told that women are dying because of their incessant need to dictate what others do with their bodies. They don't give a f*ck.

Kicking kids out at 18 is a pretty American thing. In other cultures you don't leave home until you're able to do so and til then you either go to school or work. I was shocked when I found out dudes my age were getting kicked out while I was headed for college. I couldn't fathom just turning my back on a child I parented but people do not care and honestly they're the ones who have no business procreating, but they do in droves.

Insane.

Outside of the racism, misogyny and bigotry i don't understand what they benefit from voting for Trump. He literally wants to crash the economy, he isn't giving his supporters any tax relief, healthcare, nothing. It's literally nothing but racism and hate and people want that instead of help with child care, more take home pay, help with food and drug costs, etc. It’s nuts.

And it's just not the MAGAs. I saw an interview with a young Puerto Rican woman who said she was initially going to vote for Trump (her reasoning was gaza) but switched to Harris because of the nazi rally last weekend.

Like sis I get it, but what was that man even remotely offering you before the racism personally affected you? Definitely not bodily autonomy, and definitely not any help for the people you were willing to vote in a fascist for.

This country is so warped. Nothing makes sense.
