No doubt Dak is a top 10 regular season QB. He just saves his worst for when the playoffs start.

The Cowboys even had bjj believing last season ("This team doesn't give you a different feeling this time?"), but of course as he insisted afterward he was only pretending to be rooting for his team to win.
Asking a question to Mr. B. isn't the same thing as having a feeling or sharing a feeling. I was asking a damn question. Damn, you really do miss trolling Cowboy fans.

Not Cowboys fans.
Fans who switch their team allegiance from one of the historically most successful franchises to the currently most successful franchise.
I mean if you're gonna change fandom at least root for a sympathetic team like the Lions -- who have been bad for a really long time and most people wouldn't begrudge them winning their first SB (if it isn't over their own team).

I can have little confidence and still cheer for my team.
Fan is short for fanatic.
Your every post is so repetitive.
Sorry if I do t hate my team like you.
Tell Dak to stop throwing 2 int's every week and cut back on so many 3 and out's and I wouldn't be so repetitive with his performance almost every week. Your sorry. I'm the one who should be sorry after 54 years. And I don't hate the team. Very hard to hate the team. But this isn't a team. Its a roster. And I hate this roster. I hate all the coaches, I hate the GM, I hate the front office, I hate the culture and leadership and I've always hated the owner. We haven't been the real Dallas Cowboys for a very long time. Nothing legendary about us anymore.
But at least you guys have dalvin cook now. I remember there was a lot of excitement about him.

I do. I have the Lions winning the NFC and going to the Super Bowl. Put in a couple early prop bets before the season started.

Really? Who here was excited? I didn’t think we would see him until either Zeke or Dowdle got injured. I never expected much from him though. I figured he might have a good game or two then get injured and we wouldn’t see him for the rest of the season.

I know I personally thought that if there was any year they were going to go deep in the playoffs that last year would be it. For most of the season we all thought it might be their year. Obviously the run defense failed them in the playoffs and Dak failed them in the playoffs.
For anyone that says they didn’t think they had a good shot last season is lying. It was the last time I ever drink the cool aid while Dak is the QB of the team and Jerry is the owner. Of course I reserve the right to have a helping of crow if they were to actually win the SB.

Of course you want to win your bets. Not what I mean though.
You went from cheering for the Cowboys to cheering for the team that just won 3 SBs in 5 years.
I guess you can take the Cowboys fandom out of a Cowboys fan, but you can't take away the one thing that made him root for the Cowboys in the first place.

You do the same thing, only difference is I guess eagle fans don’t get as offended as you do

There were a few here, not sure who they were but I don’t think any were some of the “regular poster”. But I was more just talking cowboy fans in general to be honest. To say no cowboy fan was excited would be an incorrect statement because I know some fans thought he was gonna ball out

Dak has just always put up empty stats. When the game is on the line and a play needs to be made, he just doesn’t come through enough. But to be fair, most QBs probably aren’t it either. The problem with having a guy like dak is he needs a ton of support around him to succeed, so giving him ginormous contracts just kinda cripple the franchise and put a lot more stress on the drafting.
I think the cowboys struck gold getting this guy with a mid round pick, but the window was those first 4 years when he was still on his rookie contract, maybe the next couple as well depending on how the contracts are structured.
Jaydubb wrote:I’ve said this before but personally, I think unless you have a Patrick mahomes or josh Allen type of QB, you trade your qb at the end of his rookie contract and start over. You will probably get a few 1sts, combine that with your own and go get another QB that you like in the draft. But that is such a risky move that no GM would ever do it.
