Oooof, yeah. He's shot 33.3% or worse in all but one game so far from 3. The season is young, the sample is small, of course. And last year, he shot almost 37%. But not an awesome start on that front. Looking good in several other ways though.

They are all coming up short and clanking off the front of the rim, so wouldn't be a crazy assumption that all his cutting, movement, and attacking the basket might be gassing his legs. He was even interviewed a little while back, and he mentioned specifically that running up and down an NBA court is so dramatically different from even college, and that conditioning is a huge thing he's been working on since last year.

Gradey played 32 minutes tonight took 26 shots and went 4/5 for 10 points with 2 rbds and and an assist in the last 5 minutes

Big game. This one ended far closer than I expected, and Gradey's game was a big part of it.

He's showing a bigger arsenal than Klay Thomspon on offense.

I think Gradey’s shot mechanics makes him a much better movement shooter than a stand still shooter.

He’s essentially great at the more difficult shots but pretty average with stationary catch and shoot 3’s. Incredibly unique in that regard, I still don’t know what to make of it.

It's nice he already show some in-game tweak for his shooting

Even then. Peja was more of a sharpshooter and Gradey is a better finisher at the rim

His layup package makes him hard to pin down, you can find a comparable for the shooting, or the rim finishing, but not both

The calls for Gradey being a bust last year was hilarious in hindsight he has the highest PPG in his class this season so far

I like the Reggie Miller comp. I actually think Gordon Hayward is a pretty good comp.

Go back and read Haywards scouting reports. It’s very similar to Dick. Shooter who is more than a shooter. Good rebounder. Good finisher at the rim. Can make two dribble passes.
