Which one of y'all is Boone?

I respect that he's being honest. I use to troll Bonnell badly because I thought he was a horrid beat writer when I was young. As I got older learned to respect him, still trolled him because he was honestly an ****. Boone does a decent job.

Both teams probably going to come out pissed.

Glad to see it. Need to stop being the bottom feeder punching bag and public statements like that, Lee's tech, and Grant's/Melo's/Mile's triple dip force the conversation.

The league knows a bunch of Boston fans spent a lot of money to travel to Charlotte for this weirdly scheduled b2b and it would be very disappointing to them to see their team lose. If they had needed 50 fts to win that game they would have gotten 50. It was a scheduled loss

That's the other side of the coin, I guess we can't complain too much when the arena is half green and the opposing team gets a standing ovation when the game ends

Having just watched the replay, perhaps the most ridiculous thing I've read on this board in weeks and there's been a lot of ridiculous between the Grant and Nick whining, Clingan nuthugging, and various conspiracy fictions.

Salaun looked perfectly capable and more than contributed to keeping the game close. Was active, played good defense, was positioned well, provides size, his shot was falling. "He has no business being in the game?" OK.

Mann is now our 3rd best player.

Grant is just dumb, he's been doing stupid stuff all season and we haven't even played 10 games yet. This guy was supposed to be our leader smh

BS foul bait by Tatum, followed by a clear missed foul on Mann, followed by a tech on the coach for defending his player, followed by Tatum pushing Melo to the ground on the rebound, immediately led to Grant laying him out.

As far as I'm concerned, I'm okay with the hard foul. Somebody has to make a statement that the refs directly caused the game to fall apart. It was over well before that point.

100%.

I'm strongly questioning if my decision to start watching Hornets games again was the correct one after watching how this game was officiated.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

Eric Collins and D. Curry lamented the foul with Curry saying, "you didn't need to foul there." Both were saying the Hornets were still in the game.

I get retaliation there, or backing LaMelo after the slick shove by Tatum, but you can't lose sight of game situation.

I don't think Grant cost them a win, but he sealed the loss with that play.

Not only was it reckless, it was inexcusable.

He's mental.

At any rate, I hope the Celtics finish #1 overall with Hornets #8 for a 1st round matchup, with both squads fully healthy (especially the Hornets).

I'd love if the Hornets could make Tatum squirm after all his running of his big fat mouth, punching down on the Hornets.

The call that really got me fuming was the moving screen called by Grant where he literally was just running in a straight line

Anyway in non referee thoughts, I think lamelo was put on this Earth to play basketball in an offense that spams the three-point line like this one is doing. The way we're playing offense right now reminds me of those video clips when he was at Chino Hills just bombing away from half court

Through five games this team has a first quarter problem. I think every game this season so far the team has started really slow offensively.

I don't want to live in a world where Miles Bridges shoots 10 3-pointers a game. Lee has to figure out a way to get miles offensive opportunities that compliment his skills. And Miles has to stop settling. I've always said he's the kind of player that should live at the free throw line but he thinks he's a shooter.

Obviously it's clear Vasa is out of the rotation. I don't see him getting back in the rotation without an injury. It's disappointing based off of the version we saw of him last year but completely understandable based off the version we saw of him this year.

Thrilled to finally see the rookie get that three-point stroke going.
