Twice in a row, Simons’ is stripped trying to force a drive\shot. How many times does Cronin need to see this before he realizes that he is not a #1 option, let alone a #2 option

That was totally a block by Camara

SGA is so good

Great pass from Scoot to Ayton

Grant will be the 1st Blazer traded

Camara may be my favorite player on the team right now. Who's in the lineup when Sharpe comes back?

It might not be a bad idea to bring both Scoot and Sharpe off the bench or at least until the vets get traded

Rupert is evolving before our eyes, looks better than OKC project player, Dieng.

Murray finding his aggressiveness

Well, it’s over, all there is left to watch is Banton go 1v5

As trade deadline assets, I can't see Grant or Simons go to the bench as it will mean a reduction in value for sure.
My guess the starters will remain the same while Sharpe will enter early and compete with opposing teams starters.

I think the market dictated simons. We thought he was worth 1-2 firsts i imagine. And teams probably didn't concur on valuation. But unfortunately he's gonna shoot it because he has the ball in his hands even though quite honestly from anything I've seen

Some really bad coaching too. OKC plays super small when Chet sits, Billups keeps a traditional lineup with DC at center. That's fine, but why not switch to zone? That would be much better than watching DC get burned multiple times chasing a guard at the three point line.

I agree and have said as much but its really important to note that is only justified if those players are moved by the trade deadline.

If they are not then all this is an utter failure and a major criticism of the team for wasting a season.

Yeah, Blazers got rope-a-doped with 5 minutes to play in the 3rd. They relaxed and looked lost trying to feed the post and OKC upped their intensity defensively and offensively. But we all knew the Blazers weren't going to keep pace with OKC from 3pt land.

Clingan got hit with two fouls that looked like poor officiating to me. Blazers need to figure out how to use him as a screener. Right now ball handlers are running away from and passing away from Clingan's screens and it makes no sense.

Anybody hear anything about Ant's wrist? I had the sound off because I can't stand Kevin Colabro...worst play-by-play ever.

I've only seen the one game that was on KATU for the satellite fans apparently have to wait until
January 1 when the games will be on our TV's.

I was wondering where/how Rayan's game is evolving and where he fits moving forward. It might be
satisfying to the young players develop and we can hope the team can draft another talented young
player that fits with this new group.

Just now watching the game. 8 1/2-minutes left and Billups has the scrubs in already. Love the fight and hustle of the Thunder. Amazing 2nd quarter by the Blazers. Pretty ridiculous the Blazers could not figure out how to get Ayton down low when Holmgren picked up his 4th foul in the 3rd quarter and the Thunder went with Caruso at the center position.

Rayan Rupert had a damn great game his shooting this year has been unreal. I also like a lot of what I am seeing from Scoot he deserves a starting spot along with more minutes, and probably has a shot at MIP if he keeps it up.

Simons is very quickly playing himself into a reserve role and could easily lose his starting spot. OKC is arguably the best team in the West right now though in fact before this game they had not given up anywhere close to this number of points to any team.

Rupert certainly looks to be the replacement for Thy.

Camara and Rupert both kind of replace that POA defender but both look to be better shooters and even a bit more size. I am a fan of Thybulle but once he is healthy we need to move him. I liked some of the early action they ran for Camara and Rupert has been showing some real improvement with his handles so both have way more offensive potential.

This is more of a physical comparison than a skills based one but Rupert looked a little bit like SGA out there. The combo of being quick, light on his feet, super long and with great body control. SGA has such a ridiculous bag of moves once he terminates the dribble that lets him get off quality shots time and time again against whatever the defense wants to do.

Kris reminds me of Batum in some ways... He will have long stretches where he disappears and then do a couple really good things and makes them look so easy and its like why cant you do that all the time.
