Celtics vs. Hornets Injury Report:

Celtics: Kristaps Porzingis: Out (Foot)

Hornets: Mark Williams: Questionable (Foot), Brandon Miller: Questionable (Hip), DaQuan Jeffries: Questionable (Hand)

Nick Richards's injury yesterday probably minor and he could play

Grant is trash and he’ll always be trash. Going after Tatum of all people like that is as bush league as it gets

The Who Will Play Center Tonight question continues.

Yesterday is was an even minutes split between Kornet and Queta. Tonight, Horford is back and will start. Maybe it'll be the opposite of the last game with K and Q sitting, while Horford and his stunt double get all the playing time.

Who knows?

Edit: with Brown down, tonight's lineup gets more twisted. Hauser probably starts, or maybe they start two big men, or maybe even Walsh. Mazzulla's adjustments routinely make sense, but are never predictable.

We get to see more Walsh? Hope they're just resting JB on a B2B, not something to be concerned about.

With Brown out, Springer has the chance to earn 100% of his yearly paycheck by subbing in and torpedoing Grant Williams. Just saying

Hey I think I need to make a good decision for myself and get off my damn computer for the day. Could someone please make the postgame thread? For real this time haha.

Some of you know I have tiny pea brain problems from when I smashed it in a car crash. I am prone to mental overload and get crazy headaches and I'm all screwed up right now. Looking at the computer and TV makes it worse, so I'd be smart to basically just sit here with my eyes closed today or it's just going to get worse and spill into tomorrow. Not the most fun but that's where I'm at. Remind me never to give candy out on Halloween again. My brain is not great at having my doorbell ring every 30 seconds so kids can yell at me. You'd think I went on a crack bender that night from how I feel lol.

TLDR: Someone make the postgame thread tonight peace out!

PS: change your clocks tonight if you're into that sort of thing.
Gonna miss KP but he's no Georges Niang.

- Making the rounds: Grant is angry at missing out on the Celtics championship and specifically Tatum for not stepping up
and preventing his trade to the Mavs.

- Likely to be a very clunky game tonight as the Refs try to tamp down any future conflagrations.

- The rest of the NBA is gunning for the Champion Celtics this season, so every game is a pure and unadulterated
donnybrook.

- Hauser, so far is the biggest Celtics disappointment, but apparently still struggling with back issues.

- My name is Jersey Hal, a lot of good music coming to you...

- Celtics are definitely winning tonight without Jaylen, and with that win, those Brown and Porzingis, 5 firsts and 4 Pick swap
rumors for an unhappy Jokic at the 2026 Trade Deadline will only increase in intensity...

There's probably a high correlation between offensive rebounding % and low 3-pt attempt rate. Closer you are to the rim on offense, the likelier you can get an offensive board. Though long rebounds happen, it's unlikely the ball makes it near the arc before someone picks it up.

I'm totally fine with Kornet/Queta not taking many/any threes unless left wide open or in late-clock situations. K/Q getting second chances on offense and passing out to actual shooters is more valuable to me than they themselves attempting a three.

Walsh is about to get the most PT of his career. Hoping he has a good outing. Springer might even get some PT in non garbage minutes. I wonder if Grant will be up to some shenanigans today. Probably not. He'll be heavily scrutinized.
