But Dick has 31, 30, 15 and 25 in his last 4 games.

After how bad he looked to start last season, early contender for MIP?

He's now at 21 ppg on 49/37/89 shooting splits.

it's too early....he needs to be doing this for a month or so, before he gets noticed
also once barnes and IQ comes back, will see if he still puts up those numbers

what i do like, is how much gravity he's pulling already....
he's only a 37% shooter but ppl play him for like a 50% shooter

Are you saying Dick needs to show some stamina? That he can last? He hasn’t just shot out of the gates early?

Never seen this guy until Denver played the Raps the other night and he has some ability.

Good shooting and solid touch on his shots around the rim.
Thank you Nico!

Dick has grown so much from last season. He 's hard, can penetrate and shoot well. Take it slow, let this ride out gently. Long, steady, satisfactory performances he shall deliver.

The magic passing on him twice is going to haunt them. Dick is looking like a prolific 3 level scorer.

Not true: Webber was ROY, Sprewell was All-NBA 1st team (youngest player ever at the time IIRC), the team had 50 victories... 8-)

Yep. Although I started following the NBA back in 1991. But I only "choose" to root for the Warriors 3 years later.

That's an interesting story: information was very scarce back then.

We only had newspaper clips (very basic boxscores were published 2 days later), a weekly TV show (NBA Action) which lasted for a good 15 minutes, and also 1 or 2 weekly games, which usually started past midnight (I remember watching a Barkley-led Suns team playing a Friday triple OT game against the Payton/Kemp Sonics, the game finished at nearly 3:30 am).

And also, last but not least, the videogames. NBA Live amongst them. With them we could check every single player in every single roster, memorize them, wonder about how they played, how they looked like...

So I had a friend (still one of my closest friends, actually) and we were obsessed with the NBA. One day we were talking about the sport, then we decided to choose one team to root for. Guess how we both choose the Warriors? By the logo, simple as that. The team back then had a very good, promising roster as well, that didn't hurt obviously.

True story, my friend even talked about this at the beginning of this very year,

Cheers, just wanted to say I enjoy reading your posts, btw.

Thanks, very interesting! I get it that access to live games was tough back then, especially for foreign fans.

I hope you have enjoyed the Warriors run with Curry like I have. As a fan since the 80s it has been almost incomprehensible!

The Warrior depression was real back then after Run TMC and Webber were gone. I used to go to games in the 90s with my college buddies for like $25 and we'd go sneak into the front rows right behind floor seats and watch Hakeem, Barkley, etc. just absolutely destroy our Warriors  . Now it's a LOT more to go to a Warrior game!

Dick on the Magic may have been the best possible fit at SG between Franz/Suggs and 1st option Paolo. Cant have it all tho

Dick be busting it in dudes faces. I didn't care for Dick when he came out, but I'm really starting to like Dick now.

It's not to late for everyone to ride the Dick train.

Magic Dick would've been nice to experience. Especially sharing the court with Suggs and Black.

Never knew so many realgmers loved dick.

Still a bit premature to being coming out so hard with full throated supported for dick, imo. He still needs a bit a time before he is ready to fully rise to the top of my MIP list.

I didn’t like his standing measurements and wingspan but I guess he’s actually athletic enough.

I would never draft him. He might have had surgery when he was very young.
