I’m holding out hope that these polls are underreporting the extent of Harris’s lead. Just like what happened in 2022 when he were supposed to get that Red Wave.

:noway: Is this what really upsets you enough to post this in support of your argument that republicans are better on the economy? Seriously? If so, that's a joke. Are you that unaware of the accepted and authoritative indexes of a good economy? Jesus.

Yooo wtf are you talking about? You guys in here posting Hitler stuff getting outraged by this story? What’s that have to do with the economy or anything partisan???

I’m not outraged by this story. It’s dumb. It has no significance in this election. But fascism does. I find it amazing that you find some equivalency between the two.

Maybe you can explain that to me?

I keep looking at the EC map and don't see how this doesn't favor Trump.

On one hand, all Kamala has to do is hold the rust belt and it's game over. Easier said than done though.

All Trump has to do is hold + reclaim the south (all were won by a hair in 2020) and flip one of the rust belt stats. However, there's no path to victory for him unless he flips one of WI, MI, or PA. So I also see why many Kamala supporters on here are very confident.

Based on the 2020 map Trump had to reclaim Georgia, Arizona and pic up one of Michigan/Wisconsin/Penn to win. A lot easier said than done considering North Carolina is now in play and his ground game is non existent. Harris has more money, more momentum and isn’t **** crazy. The problem is Trump has run an entirely social media and right wing propaganda eco system campaign. To bad these people don’t represent real life

It’s still probably in the margin of error, no? But I’ll accept your POV. Was Trump ever up in Iowa?

He was leading Biden by 18 points in that state only a few months back.

If Harris wants to nail this thing down now, announce an arms embargo on Israel before Tuesday. I don’t think that she’ll do it but that was crush Trump. Most Americans are tired of this and don’t want us sending billions upon billions towards this utter failure.

We won’t have a decision Tuesday night. My guess is maybe Wednesday afternoon/evening. At least that’s what I’m hearing.

If it is a truly blue wave we'll probably know the outcome late the same night without it necessarily being officially called.

I'm optimistic, because a blue wave could mean taking NV, AZ, GA and NC. If that does happen, it will be a blowout. Not saying it will, but there's is good chance of it happening IMO. In that case, we'll know by the time we hit the sack who won.

There may be down ticket elections that are close and will take more time to call though.

I think we're getting a blue wave and anywhere from 290 to 325 electoral points. Praying I'm right.

With the same pollster

Month and a half ago same pollster had him up by 4

Also, Selzer has been really accurate, especially the last 2 presidential races when compared to other Iowa polls.

Big government bad?

First I'll worry about women having autonomy over their bodies on a national scale then maybe later we can deal with how pets are governed on a state by state basis.

 @ Biden: “I’M STAYING IN THE RACE!!!!!”

I take it that the poll was taken soon after his debate debacle.

To be fair, Iowa had been trending hard right post-Obama. That's why I was saying in the CA Board that I first read that as Harris was down 3, which still would've been good news for the direction of Harris's campaign overall.

Also to repeat myself from the CA Board, I'll still be surprised if Harris wins Iowa.

I can’t believe that I have to do this.

https://shumakeranimalremoval.com/blog/why-squirrels-make-terrible-pets/#:~:text=It's%2520easy%2520for%2520humans%2520to,re%2520in%2520the%2520right%2520conditions%E2%80%A6

We sell plenty of rodents and mammals in our pet stores, like hamsters and guinea pigs, so it might not make sense why we don’t domesticate certain wild critters. What caused us to make gerbils pets and not squirrels? Well, there are several important reasons why humans never decided to domesticate squirrels. Read on, and you’ll reconsider keeping the squirrel you caught in your attic.

Intensive Care

Squirrels are used to having access to all sorts of food, whereas other pets are used to eating one specific food. For instance, gerbils eat one brand of gerbil food for most of their life. Squirrels eat insects, all kind of vegetation, nuts and berries. They know intrinsically what they should eat…but do you? This also leads to having to clean up after your squirrel. They are notorious for chewing and shredding up not only their enclosures, but your skin when you want to reach in to clean the cage. And you’ll have to do that pretty often, considering the incredible mess squirrels make. Lastly, squirrels need to be constantly monitored. Otherwise, they’ll get up to mischief and ruin your idea of a cute pet.

Danger to Your Health

Squirrels carry a lot of nasty diseases that won’t show up in their behavior or appearance. It’s easy for humans to contract them when squirrels are so eager to bite and scratch at anything that comes their way. So, if you capture a squirrel from the wild, he probably has some kind of disease you aren’t ready to handle. Squirrels are also viciously violent when they’re in the right conditions…i.e., captivity. Keeping one could harm the squirrel mentally and physically, but they will also lash out and cause potentially serious injury.

They’re Wild Animals

In the end, squirrels are wild. They don’t belong in homes. Maybe they would if we had domesticated them long ago, but we didn’t. Capturing a squirrel as a pet is never a good idea, and you should probably go get that hamster, instead, while we deal with the squirrels in your attic.

I've already taken preventive measures and built a secret apartment in my attic where no one will find Claude van Damme Frank, my miniature vietnamese pot belly pig. He's like family to us. I taught him to text so he can send meal requests (loves rotting cabbage and coffee grounds).

I had to choose between Frank and Rocky, my flying squirrel though, because Frank is allergic to squirrel dander. Bon Voyage Rocky!
