Deserved if it's Hayes.

Using Embiid's deceased brother to perform character assassination was totally unforgivable.

The Flagg memes might turn into our reality though after Silver hands Joel that 41 game ban.

Honestly, Embiid’s judgment here is poor. If he wanted to send a message to Hayes, he should’ve had someone else do it. He’s rich and powerful. Get him fired should even be easier and a more powerful blow.

Doing it himself, especially in a public setting, only creates more problems.

The media also has a sort of fraternity, and they could easily gang up on him over this. It makes him look weak, too, giving them ammunition to bring it up whenever they want to get under his skin.

It's always something with this team. Embiid is a hell of a player, one of the greatest Sixers ever. But he is a terrible leader and a perpetual manchild. I am low key hoping he gets suspended and it forces us to tank.

Kyle Neubeck gives the gist of it. IT's a live show, scroll until you see kyle reporting, and he goes over what happens.

Basically saw Hayes in there, and they had a battle of words. Jo said you can say I suck etc, but if you ever bring my dead brother or my family into the conversation, or those words come out of your mouth, we're going to have a problem.

Then the shove happened. That's pretty much what would have happened in every situation in the world if you do that. Hayes can't hide behind his reporter badge a disparage someone like this.

Maybe. But we’ll see. Sounds like it wasn’t serious. It could just be a distraction to how bad (Maxey) and this team is.

Marcus Hayes, a really dumb guy, who thinks he’s “hot stuff” but he’s absolutely nothing, is now out there saying that Embiid has to show up to work to be great. Actually, he is very wrong. This guy is such a fool, he’s constantly on Television being critical, and only for the reason that Joel tuned him out completely because he called Embiid incessantly. Joel told him, very pointedly, “Look Marcus, I’ve got a lot of things to do, I just can’t be taking so many pointless calls from you.” In any event, that affected him greatly, because he’s a very insecure guy, and a MAJOR LOSER, always has been and always will be! Nobody likes him, nobody respects him, and he’s unattractive both inside and out! Also, he’s got no clubhead speed!

YOu disparage someone for talking about your dead brother, then you have what's coming to you. I agree Embiid should not have done that, but 1000% he won't be suspended for the end of the year. There is reporting, and their is vileness. What Hayes said would have gotten the **** kicked out of him if Embiid weren't a player.

There is literally not a player Maxey is playing with that any team, yet alone a contender would consider an ideal starter. Oubre and Martin aren't great shooting, and ideal off the bench, but should be suitable with a top loaded star roster. A true ISO guy wouldn't be any better due to the lack of spacing. Which is why spacing is key in the NBA. There's also a lack of creation to allow Maxey to play off the ball. Plus, my biggest gripe with Nurse in non Joel games is that they didn't okay at a hectic pace to offset the lack of shooting and creating.

It's not a secret he's not a iso player (a plus in the overall big picture) it's also not a secret the team isn't built around his skillset without Joel and Paul out there.

End of the day, Nurse has to play faster without Joel.

Sixers need to protect Joel or any player in these situations. If a reporter gets out of hand, and that happens. You can't keep granting them access to the team. I don't know if this meets that threshold, but if they know Joel is ready for a fight... There's actions they can take to prevent it. Would it cause a media storm to ban a reporter as Colorado did this year? Yes? So will your star hitting that guy.
