The Pacers have a bunch of 2nds in the next few years, I'd look to trade some 2nds for a guy who can play the backup center spot. What are you gonna do play Toppin as the backup 5? I'd like to have Jonas Valanciunas backing up Turner but getting him would put them in the tax, they'd have to match salary.

I think this is a major loss for the Pacers. He's never really developed into a solid role but has his moments. Still, he was the closest thing Pacers have to a jundyard dog. Nesmith is tough too but obviously much smaller and different player. Jackson IMO has the potential of being a game changer in a big game or playoff series if he figured out how to stay on the court without committing fouls.

These would still count against the tax though.
