I don't think The Raptors want or need D-Lo tbh, unless it's for his expiring contract.

Don't think this trade honestly helps the Lakers either in any meaningful way except as a.salary dump.

reality is with Rich Paul’s influence ands the lakers ability to find sponsored deals, those seconds can probably net them a lot more than this if used creatively…

Can DLo be routed to a 3rd team to get something for the Raps? He has no value to Toronto.

Gabe is clearly negative value.

Davion is a decent backup PG. Brown is a very good role player, although he is overpaid.

I think a deal is possible between these 2 teams, but this is probably a little short for the Raps.

How about routing Dlo and one of those 2nds to the Magic and they send Cole Anthony (Raps can also have Houstan if wanted) and the lesser of the Denver\ORL 1st this year to the Raptors.

Something like

Raptors get Cole Anthony, Vincent, 2x SRPs from lakers and 1 2025 1st round picks lesser Denver\ORL

Lakers get Brown, Davion

Orlando gets DLo and 1 SRP from Lakers

Why Raptors - Gets some picks

Why Lakers improve their defense and retain playmaking.

Why ORL - get a point guard and someone to help with some of the lifting while PB is out. (the first sent is for the extra years of salary)

Let's not feign like a backup PG who the Kings gave away has value.

Don’t act like the Kings FO is a barometer for excellence. They got fleeced in that deal.

Davion can definitely play backup PG for most teams in the league, and he’s higher trade value than Gabe.

Pass for la. Brown is coming off knee surgery. Lakers are only trading for players that are available to play. Our depth is nonexistent as is. If we misfire and the knee injury is worse than thought, we are dead in the water. Incoming players cannot have major injury concerns
Warspite:

Prince + filler for Kobe Bryant
To be honest the way Prince has played and with Kobes injury/age/mileage Im not sure I would do that deal either. Still Prince is more important and he wins the head to head battles with Kobe.

The Kings have won 94 games the prior 2 seasons, and it's not because Mike Brown is some great HC. And Davion might have a bit more value than Vincent but that's derived from contract status.

This is a great deal for the Raps. Expiring contracts, a starting level back up PG for Quickly, and picks for two unnecessary pieces in the rebuilding process.
