Strong 1st half by Toronto. Just need keep our foot on the gas in the 2nd half. Cuz the Clips can put up points in a hurry with their potent offense.

Good take 2010. I expected this loss because I have no conception of 2k and I refuse to learn. You're tough as hell though and I'd expect you'll be a formidable foe in any format. Should be near the top of the east.

I enjoy watching the games on 2K to pass the time. I think this is the farthest I have ever gotten in 2K

But hoping for a good game regardless!

I enjoy watching the games on 2K to pass the time. I think this is the farthest I have ever gotten in 2K...it doesn't really value Jokic's impact. Seems like 2K values more perimeter play/isolation type scoring.
But hoping for a good game regardless!
Yeah - say what you will about the Sim but it does seem to factor intangibles and team build more than 2k, which is why I enjoy the basketball portion of this league so much (in addition to the company). It also LOVES bigs

When I was playing 2k this week I saw their sim had Jokic averaging some crazy numbers like 33 PPG. Their sim is pretty accurate for the most part if we ever tried to use it instead of just watching the computer play a game which is completely different lol

Jose alvarado $1/1 available for a first or multiple seconds, do not want any picks in the 2025 draft class or want any players in return.

Gotcha, I figured there SIM probably is more realistic to IRL numbers then actual 2k's live gameplay. I enjoy watching the live game play but it just seems pretty reckless out there

Yeah thats why I said 2K or SIM 2010's team is going to be an absolute pain to score on. He probably has 3-4 of the best defenders in the league.
But your overall point certainly holds true. In terms of running functional offense and team building I very much appreciate our SIM respects team construction rather than just guard shot creation.
Like I watched that recent OKC game and Malcolm Brogdon and Cam Thomas were literally un-guardable while I got 6-7 straight possessions with Joker not even touching the rock

Yeah that would be cool, wonder if something has to do with 2K running more current teams play book with our rosters.
Like I wonder if I was DEN my team would look better just because I have the two main guys on that roster. For example Curry played great for NewEra in his game but he didn't really play great for me when I had him on the Spurs in 2K (less off ball movement coming around screens and 2K just hammered P&R with Curry which really isn't what he does). Maybe they don't really change up the coaches playbook based on personnel.

Yeah if I remember correctly each team has their own playbook which is exclusive to each coach. So whoever the coach is, they’re using that playbook for that coach. Don’t think it adapts to the personnel on the roster unfortunately.

Related, notwithstanding our matchup with them tonight, I watched Rox/Warriors the other night and I really like what the Rox are putting together. Amen and Eason are menaces on defense. Green played like absolute garbage too and they still kept it close.
Go figure, I'm watching a fair amount of Warriors this year
