So the trend … our assumed two best players (and highest paid) are being outworked by 2 sloths? Yikes.

Finch or Flinch ?

Crazy how people overreacted here. We are 3-3, have new players still not comfortable, we change also our way to play as we need more offense. Now what we have to find in the balance between offense and defense. But we can't expect to play same last year for a simple reason . Kat is gone !
We have some issues, new players not defending well, ANT who want to shine, Mike who shoot really bad ( he still the best in the team for assist-to and for steal....), find some time for RD, Luka, Josh...
That's normal when you trade your second best player just before the deadline.
I'm not worry, Finch is a great coach and he will adjust. I will start to worry if we play the same way in 10 games, not now.

We always lose at least one road game against San Antonio guys, this is nothing new.

and in a B2B ( tough game against Denver) after joining SA at 5 am in the morning. If the world survive after next Tuesday night, we may survive after this loss :)

Excuse … Mavs had no issue with b2b when they beat us last week, or is that just the norm too

You're right. The season is doomed. We might as well sit everyone and tank for Flagg, because this early November loss to San Antonio means everything is doomed!

Bad logistics on the teams part.

It’s a 4 hour flight to SA on a charter flight.

After the game against Denver, let the guys go home and sleep. 12pm next day fly to SA, land SA 4pm, go straight to the arena, watch film, warm up, play, fly out.

No need for a hotel.

I would assume that the NBA does not allow this, simply for logistical reasons. Sure, if unforeseen events force it then there's nothing you can do, but what if those unforeseen issues come up when you're trying to fly out at noon on game day? Then you're screwed. The other team is screwed. The fans are screwed. The league is screwed. There's just too many layers in the process for me to think that this could possibly be an option.

I get all that.

But let’s just move the order around.

Team goes to hotel, sleeps, boards flight, lands in SA

With the state of our weather prediction and the fact that if they sleep even 8 hours, that allows a buffer time of 4 hours for unforeseen issues. Plane issues, airport issues etc.

Is it in the nba’s best interest to have a team deal with these issues before getting a chance to rest.

For instance, they go to the airport, there is a plane issues. Change planes. There is an airport issue, wait on tarmac. Now team arrives 2 hours later to their hotel. Team has to try and sleep at 6am.

Now you have highly invested in players, playing on little sleep / rest. Doesn't this increase the risk of injury?

In this day and age where we know the schedule, we know the weather, we can book the flight and have the logistics worked out ahead of time. There is no reason to fly after a game, then sleep, when you can just reverse the order.

Interesting discussion, and I don’t know what the NBA travel rules are.

I will mention that the daily routine for many NBA players is a morning workout and a two hour nap in the afternoon. Getting in at 5 am would be disruptive to a sleep schedule, but so would missing a daily nap - I don’t know which is worse.

“While technically an NBA team could fly to an away game without using a hotel, it's highly unlikely as the league's collective bargaining agreement mandates that each team must provide a hotel room for every player when they are on the road, meaning they are required to stay in a hotel for away games.”

So technically the team could get a hotel near MSP
It might depend on how much of a lawyer you want to be and interpret the wording. Although the hotel would be MSP based it would be for a road game

Not a word I said is in your worthless rebuttal, but whatever makes you sleep. I simply am sick of people making excuses, but this? This is just being totally a whiny little B haha
