A large contingent of drake fans don’t want to believe there is any writing on the wall.
Apparently groping underage girls on stage, texting 14 year olds about “boys”, Baka in general, the Bella Harris stuff, etc. is not any “smoke”.
When guys like Demar abandon him and don’t stand up for him it just provides more legitimacy to those other claims that were made against him.
Like come on guys - just admit that there is a lot of weird stuff surrounding drake. You’re 100% right there is no “concrete proof” but there’s enough smoke to make you stop and kind of go “hmmmm”. The reality is that your perception is almost as relevant as reality. The perception is that drake is a weirdo at best, a possible groomer, and a predator at worst. Not exactly a ringing endorsement.

I can't believe I'm defending Drake, especially after his cringe comments on air during a basketball game, but..
Just to play devil's advocate here since I think it's very easy to create narratives on the internet - wasn't that girl at a concert where everyone was supposed to be 18+? Would Drake have known she was underage?
Didn't DeRozan say he has love for drake even after dancing on stage and only seems annoyed after Drake made the comment about pulling down his retirement banner?
As for Bell Harris, both denied it and her dad even came out and defended Drake after. Does that seem like the actions of a father who suspects anything? He even indicated people are coming together to try to character assassinate him which imo is way more likely. Jealousy is a real thing. Eminem warned Drake about this and 50 Cent is really cool with him. In the rap industry, those two have kept out of the real serious stuff and seem to be way more intelligent than most.
Also Jessie Reyes literally posted that moment Drake made those comments about her on her own instagram.
I mean this is the internet where they take one picture of a white couple visiting Africa a few years ago and then paste a current picture of white woman with black child insinuating that white woman got impregnated there when really what she did was adopt a child.
Drake is being pretty free flowing for a guy who has anything to hide, especially given the Diddy situation. I think this is just the internet doing what the internet does.

vince got recognized because he was the first player to enter the HOF as a raptor,
if vince goes into the hall as a net, do you think they raise his banner?
and yes the organization and vince have been discussing this for a long time.

I have no clue on the age requirements - I just remember him finding out she was 17 and still making a weird ass coment.
I also know there is absolutely no situation a grown man should be texting 14 year olds "about boys".
Bella Harris can deny all she wants, we all see the weird ass photos he took with her. But either way, there was also countless people who knew and defended Weinstein/Epstein/Diddy who all (hopefully) are way more guilty than Drake is. That is not to say there is nothing there.
Again, there is enough "weird stuff" that makes everything Drake was accused of extremely, extremely, believable. Especially when his defense was "I am to famous to get away with that" (uhhh see the 3 names I just posted above) and "lol you were molested as a child, that's why you are calling me a predator" (fundamental misunderstanding of Mother I Sober). Drake to me screams a guy in 20 years that were gonna find out crazy **** about and it'll be like yeah... he did not hide it really at all.
Raptors Realtor wrote:Don't think we need to distance ourselves from Drake, if anything his popularity can only help the organization. Obviously, if any of the Twitter rumours or things from the Lamar rap battle regarding minors turned out to be true, then he has to be removed. But you can't take what's said on Twitter or during a rap battle at face value, and so far there's no concrete evidence.
I do think Drake's comments about DeRozan were obviously inappropriate & untimely, and that someone who's connected to the organization and Drake should pull him aside and express that. Also, Sportsnet/TSN should now only do the Drake commentating in the 1st half of games when he's had less juice and hopefully better judgement.

This is pretty spot on with my stance. I’d side with Drake on this ‘rap battle’ simply because he reps Toronto but Not like us is a good song. It’s really not important and just entertainment.
However, attacking DD on air and mean mugging him all game like Birdy in Above the Rim, is simply classless. He’s rich as **** 38 year old celebrity who never was about that life. Why do this wankster bull now or at all?
