Re: PG: Knicks vs. Rockets where I want to strangle the refs
The refs broke this game open in the first half and we had to play catch up all night. Thibs running a 7 man rotation with Sims getting major minutes? KAT foul trouble. This was disgusting to watch.

The bench is jus too thin right now. They probably win if Cam Payne plays or Deuce hits a shot.

He just doesn't trust the rooks yet. It's pretty frustrating.

I don't know that they're better than the Cavs but they're pretty solid.
I only watched down the stretch but we likely pull it out if Brunson had a semi-normal game.
it's interesting Cap...the Cavs might just be on a winning streak and 30 games in not be a good team. We had a chance to beat the Cavs- we never had a chance to beat Houston. As far as who's the better team- that's a different topic but this Rocket team was the 2nd hardest team for us after Boston. The had an answer for us every single time. And like I said- we only had 6 guys that could compete against their squad.
Game 6 anyway Cap...

Dont think he was bullied, so much as constrained due to the foul trouble, KAt was a monster on the boards though.
I'm a Sengun fan. But he should not be backing your center. Foul trouble be damned.

Maddening to watch KAT fall back in drop coverage every single time. His defense is atrocious and I’m losing my mind watching this sh**

For the first time we seeing McBride slump. If he's on point and we get Huckporti instead of Sims, totally different game.

There was ZERO reason not to play Hukporti. People out here blaming Brunson for the loss when him and OG were the only reason the game was even close.

Re: PG: Knicks vs. Rockets where I want to strangle the refs
Not much to say other than we should be monitoring the Giannis situation. I don't really think this team is gonna do anything special. Yeah it's still early but we don't look so good against winning teams and I don't see us getting to Boston's level. Just my opinion

It’s like when lil bitches make subliminal records, if it ain’t directed directly at me, I don’t respect it

Re: PG: Knicks vs. Rockets where I want to strangle the refs
What's happening with Brunson on offense is easy to see, if you have the right personnel you can take away his post ups and mismatches. If you have two good wing defenders you can put your center on Hart, your physically strongest defender on KAT and then you put your quickest/best defender on Brunson. He cannot post up some of these jumbo sized wings, so that takes away a weapon, and if you try and get KAT involved in the screen they will switch it so he has to go against a good perimeter defender instead of the C which is where he mismatch hunts, and third if you call for a screen with Hart they don't care about what he does. The C guarding Hart will roam and blow up offense all over the place, this has been a theme all season for teams with the personnel to do it.
This gets Tom into the trap of trying to post up KAT, which looks like a mismatch but kills ball movement and the C helping off Hart will be everywhere.
The best way to get around this would be to use KAT more like how we used IHart, but for whatever reason we have not really tried to use him as a hub passer. That will give Hart the edge on the C guarding him and open up cuts, ball movement etc, it's how our offense worked last year from Jan into the playoffs.
