However, he whiffed on a few picks and traded the Sengun pick for essentially nothing. He also traded for Gordon Hayward as his big deadline addition to gear up for the playoffs. And we all know how that went.

Give it up. Look at this team. You tell me this is not better than our ceiling today and even if we get a top 5 pick tomorrow (next draft)?

Not to mention the 10+ FRP and swaps they still got

What are you even talking about? I’d easily take OKC’s situation over ours. That’s not the argument. The point is their best player and a top 5 player was acquired not drafted. And the trade would’ve never happened if not for Kawhi. It completely changed how people perceive Presti. People wouldn’t be excited about a team led by Chet and Jdubs. Those are the best players Presti has drafted in this rebuild.

I really like the players on their team. It would be great if SGA could get a ring. And it’d be great for Presti to get one so he can get to that next tier with guys like Masai, Riley etc.

It should be noted that the draft pick used to pick Jalen Williams was also part of the Clippers trade. Kawhi really set that team up nicely.

He’s been the most important person in OKC’s rebuild. I actually forgot they got Williams with the LAC pick. It’s crazy to think how bad of a situation OKC would still be in if not for Kawhi.

I'm not sure if they'd be in a bad situation.....they'd just be a rebuilding team just like other rebuilding teams. I'd bet they'd look similar to the Rockets...lots of quality young pieces but still trying to lock into a 'core' and figure out fit and whatnot.

Well Darko just said that they're ruling out surgery for Scottie which means he'll be back probably within the next 3 weeks...I really dunno if they're gonna be able to stay down in the hunt for a top 5.

nets may win another one tonight and it's early but the jazz are leading the bulls by 11 at the half.

also pistons leading the lakers being the big possible result tonight

Might be shaping up to be a huge night for the tank if we lose too

Our schedule is absolutely BRUTAL the next month or so. Even in December we only play a handful of bad teams. I just don’t see it.

I hope so my tWo bredren. I wanna believe lol bc the thought of Ace developing here when you see what we've done with guys like Pascal, OG, Scottie, now Gradey (really think about that) and he's THE perfect fit into the lineup & the style of offence we're trying to run -- it's truly droolworthy lol. It might sound like crazy talk but I legit believe if we got him we would eventually become a powerhouse in the East. I think the idea to me just seems so farfetched because it would be almost too good to believe lol for me it would be like VC/TMac 2.0 BUUUUT waaay better because we have a competent FO to build around them with an already better looking supporting cast imo & we'd get at least 5 years of them together. I really pray it happens because I think it would THE most fun era of the franchise to date which is obviously saying a lot considering the highs the team has had..but I gotta digress lol.

Nuggets lost Murray and Gordon....I thought it was a pretty easy W for us at that point but the tank gets a huge W tonight.

I really doubt the Nets are going to keep being .500 so them picking up wins early is pretty big.

The Bulls seem just good enough not to be the worst, the actual worst position. Zack Lavine is back and Vuc playing well is just screwing that team long term.
