It's every night. We absolutely deserved to ose against Portland.

It's certainly better to win than lose, but it would be nice if we learned from the wins. My major concern is that we have the same issues as last year. Had what? 8 turnovers in the 4th tonight? Damn near all of them were unforced also.

We need to show we can handle physicality and we need to stop letting inferior teams hang around. Also, if we don't start putting some bad teams away our stars will wear down.

We need to see what our bench has in games also. Can't do that when games are this tight for no reason. These are bad teams without their best players.

The increase in 3s and shot distribution is way better. We're clearly better coached.

I don't get why this isn't a bigger narrative. We're closing out games with confidence. The spacing alone in those last few KD possessions were amazing. We're executing like a well coached, well disciplined NBA team.

Summary: no D for three quarters, lots of stupid TOs in Q4, Book - bad, KD - good, Suns win.

I guess he’s still Kevin Durant.

What a superstar 4th quarter to carry us when Book was having an off night

If he’s shooting wide open corner 3’s, he can.

If he’s shooting contested 3’s from the wing like he was tonight, probably not gonna happen.

He’s fine. He’s still a positive player who was a major steal with where we drafted him.

Ugly game but I’ll take the win. KD was amazing tonight without him we lose by 15+ easily. Hopefully, Book can shoot better next game against the Heat.

Booker wins Player of the Week playing without the headband... Goes back to the headband and proceeds to have one of his worst games in his career from the field.

STOP WITH THE HEADBAND, DEVIN ARMANI BOOKER. Throw it out.

Ugly game, but the positive take away is that the 76ers were shooting out of their minds (relative to their usual performance), Devin Booker played like doggy doo doo and we were still able to squeeze out a victory.

The 76ers hit a season high in three pointers, hitting almost twice their season average in makes, while shooting a whopping 10 percent about their usual efficiency.

This game also goes to show that the Suns, while vastly improved in offensive execution, still show some of the bad tendencies from last year. I'm confident this will get better as the season progresses.

We can win ugly. That alone is a major departure from last season where we couldn't even close out games with a double digit lead in the clutch.

But not just that, (small sample size, I know) so far in 5 clutch wins:

We're #3 behind Boston and Cleveland in both net rating and plus/minus at 53.2 and 5.0 respectively.
We're #1 in clutch time true shooting at 74.6%
We're #1 in clutch time defensive rating at 74.5
We're #1 in clutch time opponent eFG% at 32.4%
We're #3 in clutch time rebounding % at 71.4%
We're #5 in clutch time FT rate at 1.111
We're #9 in clutch time pace at 104.1
We're #10 in clutch time opponent FT rate at 0.432
We're #28 in clutch time TOV%

We're executing, we're locking down defensively AND we can still clean up a lot of our TO's in the clutch.

So we're obviously not a perfect team, we still have plenty of things we need to work on but just being on our way to getting rid of that 4th quarter Achilles Heel is what got us to 5-1 when we could've easily been 2-4

That last play by Paul George runs down the clock to 5 seconds then takes the hardest 2.

If he went 1 second earlier Maxey has a wide open 3 FTW.

Grayson was outstanding defending him 1 on 1.

Nurkic is getting closer to his usual seems to start seasons slowly.

5 **** wins in a row!

I thought that we were losing this one when we were 9 points down with 4-5 minutes left but we didn't give up and kept fighting until the last second.

Yabusele made three consecutive mistakes (2 3p misses and a traveling) and that gave us enough to make it a 3 point game.

Then...KEVIN DURANT. What a luxury to have an ATG playing on a Suns uniform at this crazy high level. Smoothest player ever.

It was "fun" to watch Paul George wasting their last shot attempt when Maxey was hot and obviously was a better option for them. LOL.

We know that PG isn't clutch at all, good memories those FTs with the Clippers and even with our worst defender on him (Allen) he couldn't make a ****. Nice.

7-1 and counting...
EDIT: OK, just 6-1 for now.

I don't know. Heat are one of five EC teams with .500+ win% and we barely beat one at the bottom.

It's all about the players that you face. With Paul George back the Sixers are better than 1W-4L.

With Embiid back they are a Top 8 team in the league for sure. For once we were on the lucky side of injuries.

Ok, let's count Heat game as a win then. Suns are rollin'.
