The East is so awful (outside of BOS and CLE) that we're tied for 3rd place right now despite our early ups and downs... Season's goal should be to work out all the kinks, stay healthy, and finish with the 3rd or higher seed. Shouldn't be too difficult...

My favorite section. Where every other NBA team is far superior to the Knicks and all have the much better players, because the Knick players are all massive disappointments who suck.

Miami is going to be better when they get Giannis.
Philly will be better when PG and Embiid are healthy.

Orlando is probably better right now.

Are the Knicks really better than the Pacers or Bulls?
Atlanta probably beats them head to head now too.

I think it's flawed roster offensively and the modern NBA is all about the offense.

Does defense matter? Sure, there has to be stops, but it's not as important as it was.

Meaning, I think teams more likely to win with a top 3 offense and a defense around 10th, then the other way around.

Knicks 2nd and 3rd options aren't creative enough and OG and Hart aren't really that good shooting 3s or creating. Either one of them is great, having two of them where Mikal is "ok" creatively and KAT needs to be set up means teams that aren't good at defense shut the team right down.

Note Boston, Cleveland, Houston, and to some degree, Miami.

Knicks will blow out teams like Detroit and Indiana though.

The suspension begins after he is cleared from the injury. If is not is cleared by tomorrow, he will not face us.

I think we have the personell to be a top 3 offense....but only if:

1)Our ball handlers play less selfishly

2) we Prioritize shots for Towns...particularly 3 pointers

3) We shoot more 3's

I disagree that we are flawed, in fact offensively I think we are one of the least flawed in the league. Thibs has to adapt - if not well look flawed. Brunson really has to adapt.
