We don't have a closer. Butler can't do that anymore. We are relying way too much on Herro to bail us out. He has been playing great but he can't do it alone. We saw that in the Celtics series.

Don’t care what happened on the last play, nothing outside of the last 3 minutes of the 3rd matters. 15 point lead completely disappeared.

Thats my feeling watching this year.

We have seen every iteration of this team. Its a stale roster that is leading to the same games and results over and over again.

Rozier is ineffective when he's not scoring, and even when he does score, he's inefficient. Plus, when he's on the court, either Jimmy or Bam often ends up with low usage and has an off game. We need to trade him ASAP for a reliable floor general.

Played well enough to win. Its just Durant made all the shots in clutch time and we couldnt make shots consistently. And it all boils down to the 50 mil player. The Max player gotta play like a max player. Butler has had one game where he was great from start to finish. Other wise he disappears in quarters.
And same with Bam. He had a poor start to the season. We can blame rotations and scheme but these guys got paid and need to start playing like allstars consistently. Bam has now been outplayed by KAT, Nurkic, Sabonis. He was suppose to be in DPOY contention. Can't do that if you are loosing matchups against other bigs

It’s sad to see, but there’s literally no joy in Jimmy’s play. He looks like he doesn’t want to be there. I don’t know if it’s residual from Riley calling him out, residual from his Dad passing away and lacking motivation, or just Father Time creeping up on him.

If we can’t realign our season soon, we have to be looking to deal him and Terry and rebuilding around the younger guys.

If we ain’t competing, get me a lineup of:

Young PG
Herro
Jaquez
Adebayo
Ware

With Larsson, Highsmith, Keshad, Burks off the bench. Assuming Niko is a goner too at this point so I’m not counting him in this, but I’d be happy to have him involved too. Phuck it, start him at PG and go supersized.

Bam is gassed from the years of this franchise grinding his ass to the ground from the years of roster ineptitude. Also lack of offseason playing for team USA is also showing. Dude just looks worn down and the answer for the franchise is to help him with 6’5 220 jagsmith and whatever 6’6 and under wing they can muster up to play the 4. We need physicality, size, and some scoring coming from that 4 spot. Trade for John Collins
