He's done well so far with this draft, doesn't erase the 7 years prior of nothing.

This is an incredibly nonsensical post because it ignores all the players we acquired for the championship. Like how does that make sense? Are you under the impression we should have had a different roster than we did for that? It doesn't even make sense the other way cause Gradey is a 2023 draft pick. They also acquired Quickley in 2023.

Also they acquired Ibaka in 2017. So that's also stupid, he was a key championship piece. Did he not count? Then acquired Kawhi, Gasol, Green. Was the purpose of those moves not to win a championship? They acquired players to win a championship and did it. I'm genuinely confused. Kawhi was I think "worth keeping" even if we didn't manage to keep him.

If for some reason you're going to ignore Barnes, than you'd have what 2020-2022?

Aside from the Bargnani, Gay, Kawhi, Vasquez, McDaniels, Gasol, Ibaka trades, drafting/signing Norm, OG, Siakam, Poeltl, Scottie, FVV, Gradey, Mogbo, Shead and winning a championship, Masai has absolutely done nothing noteworthy since his time here

"Nothing"

Barnes and hus ROTY and All Star season doesn't count.

Gradey and leading his draft class on scoring this year doesn't either?

Then it ignores that we won a championship...no **** we might have traded away some picks to get that.

How ignorant can you be?

The championship doesn't exist?

Embarrassing.

Of finding players ffs, try and comprehend even a little bit, I referenced boucher for a reason.

How many years are you counting exactly? 2018, we had no pick. 2019, we had the 59th pick. 2020, we had the 29th and 59th pick. I mean I guess you can complain about Malachi being a bust. 2021 we got Scottie, Banton and Johnson. Banton is still in the league so not a bad pick at 46. 2022, we drafted Koloko and we know how that went. 2023, we got Gradey and now this year we seemed to have done well again.

So, yeah I mean I guess it sucks we didn't find another FVV type UDFA, but how many of those exist really? And obviously a big part of the "nothing" you speak of came from using our assets to win a championship.

Scase finds any way to dunk on Masai, and usually it makes no sense.
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

Lots of triple singles, still early though, I expect some rookies to crack 10ppg soon.

IF, massively large IF, he can turn BB into a player or two who can be part of the bench for a few years, (at least) that will be a win. No, call it a wash. He could have easily spent the $23M on a couple borderline starters this summer.

2024 and ppl still don’t know how the salary cap works smh
