GT: Bucks at Knicks Friday, 11/8/24 7:30PM EST

Post#1 » by The KnicksFix » Thu Nov 7, 2024 6:19 am

Can’t take these losses. We getting back to our winning ways starting now.
Making this thread now and keeping it simple

Bucks at Knicks 11/8/24 7:30PM at MSG

NY starting 5, Brunson, Bridges, Bridges, OG, KAT,
Bench: Deuce, Sims (please dont play him for the love of god), Kolek, hopefully Hukporti

MIL starting 5: Damian Lillard, Gary Trent Jr., Taurean Prince, Giannis, Brook Lopez

Notable injuries:
Precious, Mitch, Cam Payne out for NY
Giannis probable for Milwaukee

Keys to the game:
- Start this game with physicality in the first 6 minutes
- Finish the game with physicality in the last 6 minutes
- Outrebound them, we miss our bigs, gang rebound, establish presence in the paint to rebound
- Feed KAT more at the 3 pt. Line
- Play more Pick & roll/ pick & pop with KAT and Brunson
- Get Bridges involved early, make him the third option
- DONT PLAY SIMS ANYMORE, PLAY HUKPORTI
- Get it together Thibs and step up
- Feed KAT more to close the game
- Play defense for the love of god and protect the paint, tired of looking at teams bully us there
- Play with some damn heart and jump on opposing teams early
- Brunson wake up, stop being afraid, and be quicker with your moves
- TIGHTEN UP THE DEFENSE FROM TOP TO BOTTOM
- Set better picks for Brunson and free him up

Let’s get back to home cooking, GET YOUR HEADS RIGHT AND START TO FIGURE THIS THING OUT, GO NY GO NY GO

Trap Game...for the Bucks
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

If we lose this game, we need to do some serious soul searching.
BaF Lakers:

Nikola Topic/Kasparas Jakucionis
VJ Edgecombe/Jrue Holiday
Shaedon Sharpe/Cedric Coward
Kyle Filipowski/Collin Murray-Boyles
Alex Sarr/Clint Capela

Bench: Malcolm Brogdon/Hansen Yang/Rocco Zikarsky/RJ Luis Jr.

Win or lose I hope GreenArrow, FN11, Guano, Bob Ross, KnicksGMen, Aggo and DaGawd get nasty and severe food poisoning for trashing Brunson.

Too early.

I'm giving them until Christmas and won't sound the alarm personally unless we get a few games below .500, which I don't see happening with Chicago, Brooklyn 2x and Washington coming up shortly.

no one's putting him in the trade machine but our beloved brunson being held accountable proves it's usually not personal with most knick fans

Accountability is one thing but lack of loyalty and trust is another. Especially with a guy who revived the franchise and took such a massive pay cut to stay here. It's a bad look.

i think everybody here loves brunson but it is clear he's having an issue right now, which imo appears mental. whether it's lack of focus, or letting the fan love get to his head, he's not bringing the smarts and mental toughness that won us over in the first place. knuckleheaded play is last thing you'd expect from brunson, so fans wanting him to snap out of that quickly is unsurprising

We may need Mitch/Precious next to Towns.

Might be worth exploring adding another rim protecting big at the deadline as well.

For me it’s that we’re asking him to do something he’s never really done Before and that’s be a facilitator for his teammates!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And I’m not sure he’s capable to consistently do that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He’s a score first pg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Always has and always will be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No, he did it after Randle got injured, he averaged 7apg after Randle's injury. What Brunson needs to get better at is learning to play with a player that can play off him that can be used in a 2 man game. That is something he never had, not with Luka, not with Randle, the closest he came to that was with Donte but Donte is nowhere near KAT's level on offense, and he never had to directly interact with Donte to get him offense. KAT is something he's never had to play with before, a finishing big that can do pretty much everything on offense.

He needs to view KAT as a weapon, and Mikal is the one that needs to be more aggressive if anything.

Totally disagree!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That was all ihart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hart was the the real playmaker on last years team!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Which makes it infuriating to see Thibs not use Kat the same way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kat should be the offensive hub that we run everything through!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brunson can do what he does when it’s time to close!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brunson had the ball more last year post Randle injury than he does this year, so you're wrong Greenie. He's just not used to having a player like KAT, and this year teams are treating Hart like he's a center and guarding him with one which is messing things up, and even with that in mind we currently have the 4th best offense.
