Re: [Wojnarowski]: Caruso For Giddey
My concern with Giddy is that he's good enough to get paid, but not good enough to play big minutes on a winning team. So far, I feel he's ideal as a good player for a bench role-but will be paid big $ next summer (almost surely by the Bulls)

If this is how you want to view this stat it is even more worthless...
Hornets are -2.8 with Lamelo ball on the court, Isiah Joe is +13.8 when he is on the court. Does that mean Joe is better? No it doesn't because that number is basically just telling you how good the team is...What you need to look at is the on/off because...
Comparing Lamelo and Isiah Joe is nonsensical.
Please explain why the Bulls absolutely sucking with Giddey on the floor doesn't matter? The Hornets are +11.4 when LaMelo is playing vs when on bench. When Joe plays the Thunder are -2.3, meaning they actually have played better with Joe on the bench.
OK?
Yes, the Hornets playing at -2.8 with LaMelo on the floor is decent. That's a solid number for a **** team.
The Thunder are elite with Joe on the floor. Great.
Got it so you are too dense to even understand when I lay it out to you step by step. I think you should find a new stat to post about if you are not going to understand what you are posting.
Ok, so you can't explain why the Bulls sucking with Giddey on the floor doesn't matter.

You're going to need to learn to communicate without insulting people if you want to stay here.

they should be. caruso's presence has allowed the thunder to play micro-ball lineups that are causing mass destruction. the thunder have played 65 minutes so far this year without a single big on the floor- caruso is most often the 'center' in these lineups. they're +35pp100 and generating a live ball turnover over 1/5 of opponent possessions.
caruso's ability to 'defend up' has definitely changed the thunder's defense for the better especially relative to josh giddey.
