4 of the top 5 rookies on the rookie ladder are in this game, Bub/Sarr and Edey/Wells.

tontoz, this is my first time learning of Jaylen Wells.

Reading up, he was the 39th pick, and he's played starter minutes as a scorer and a playmaker. Nice pick for Memphis.

This game I expect there will be too much Jaren Jackson Jr., Jay Huff, and maybe Zach Edey. The Wizards have a speed advantage, however. Washington can win if they hit threes and outrun Memphis. Wouldn't shock me to see Poole explode for a huge game.

Vegas has that line, but Washington has rookies who are inconsistent and incomplete. They can each have a good game tonight. That would change the line.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

Last 4 games he's scored 57 points at a .638 TS%. That's extremely good, obviously.

I left out Santi Aldama, another 7 footer. The Grizzlies are a very tall team.

Valanciunas getting the start.
I hope Bagley is over his illness the team may need some perimeter shooting from him.

Kispert is in such slump…him and Valanciunas are horrific defenders.

Memphis is a tough matchup for this team. Killing us on the boards.

JJ took Sarr out of the game by dominating in isolation.
