This Memphis team is pretty good. I mean we're bad. But they have size, shooting, depth...

Miller and Gooden provide almost no insight as announcers, but I like the vibe. They have chemistry, they like the game, and it's like they're a couple friends sitting on the couch with you. As opposed to Kutcher, who sounded like he had no genuine feelings for anything but the sound of his own voice.

Bub is a couple of assists away from a triple double with four steals.

You can take stats from these games with a grain of salt. They are all just glorified pickup games at this point.

Grizz had 4 out of 5 starters out injured and we still had no shot. Got a long way to go in the rebuild. Also JJJ saw those Sarr comparisons and wanted to let him know some stuff.
I still like our rooks. They all look like they belong. Can Kispert be traded now/at the deadline or does that need to wait until the offseason (might be too late by then!)?

Can't say I do. Who else gonna shoot?

Sarr isn't as good as Jay Huff.
doclinkin is going to be proven right about Edey.
Jaren Jackson Jr. is probably better than Sarr will ever will be.

Scotty Pippen Jr. had a triple double, and he shut Poole down in just 27 minutes.

Re: GT #7: WAS @ MEM 8PM EST
Memphis picks smart by drafting box score kings. They pick players who show they already know how to play the game and consistently put up numbers. It’s rare that they pick for upside over production. It means they get early production on a players contract. But maybe they’re unlikely to get the phenoms and hypertalents. I’m curious to see how the Wiz puppies develop and if they pass the Memphis types. Sarr has shown me more than I expected. I’m willing to wait and see.

Sarr really got punkd by JJ. That was embarrassing.

Resigning Kispert upset me, put that in the negative column on the FO, you don’t reward mediocrity.

The last two seasons Kispert had a TS of 62% and 65%. So far this season he's at 50%. Just looks like a slump to me.
With that contract he is easily tradable, although I don't think they are allowed to trade him right now since they just resigned him. It is a pretty safe bet he will be gone within two years.

This needs to be a learning game for Sarr. Pretty bad on both sides.
I'm really getting a mancrush on KG's game. He looks so good out there.

KG has been a big surprise, he looks better than Bilal who had the benefit of playing against a small Trae Young twice, now he has reverted to norm.
