Celtics got to get Tillman going. Been looking really bad the last few games

I don’t think he’s being used right. Not a stretch big. Have him setting picks and be a short roll player instead of just standing in the corner.

I think Scheierman is going to eventually replace Tillman as he is more skilled dribbling, shooting, passing.

In the meantime, TIllman is tougher, stronger, the only true BANGER on the Celtics. But Tillman is offensively limited, and his mobility seems less than before his knee surgery.

He has to work on his last possession shot selection. It’s awful, it has been for YEARS. It’s valid criticism of his game at this point in his career

There really aren't many things you can critique in his game anymore. But if there is...it's that. It's bizarre because on the break he gets downhill and gets contact. On the baseline he goes hard. But for whatever reason, on isos or coming off screens he seems reticent to continue attacking downhill as if almost afraid to touch the paint. And we know it's not that. Not a major thing but one I wish he would change.

He's only good as the sole big out there or next to KP. And you have to use him as the screener or else he's useless. If you don't let him set screens you might as well keep him on the bench because he's not a 3 point specialist.

Fair enough, he did get closely guarded/double teamed tonight in the paint.

Regardless he did stand up for us when it counted (esp on the defensive end)

It is really unbelievable. I said last year give the ball to Derrick White in these situations. We're looking for EVERYTHING in a play like this not just a pretty ESPN moment. Get to the line, draw the defense sucked in and setup one of a court full of clutch shooters, or start to drive and hit a short jumper. ANYTHING OTHER THAN A THREE THAT YOU DON'T NEED!

My thoughts exactly. If I would have called the play, I would have had Pritch on one corner, Holiday in the other corner, and wanted the inbounds pass to go to White or Tatum. Either one would attack the basket, and if not able, gotten rid of the ball to the other. I would have had Queta set a screen, where he could roll for a shovel pass or alley pop. If Hauser was shooting better Hauser could have set the screen because he could be trusted for a pick & pop.
