Pretty ideal start to the year. Gradey is making a big jump and Detroit and Brooklyn have picked up a bunch of wins they're going to wish they didn't pick up. I like where this is going.

The teams that lowkey worry me are SAS and NOP.

Not only do both of them possibly have 2 lottery picks but each have what they believe is their franchise player (like us but obv arguably better). It’s obviously less likely with the Pelicans but I hate to put it out there but you almost have to account at least for Zion to being out some stretch of games, if they continue to struggle while they struggle to find a BI trade. I don’t rule out a tank if they find themselves stuck in the 10-12 seed.

And I was never sold that Spurs are taking some huge leap just because of an ancient Chris Paul and a rotation player in HBarnes. Not saying they can’t be a bit better than last year but I wasn’t expecting a jump into the Playoffs like some think/thought. With Pops out and Wemby having bit of a sophomore slump as a team that also has shown no fear to tank…. I don't rule out that they pull the plug on the season if they don’t build up any momentum by mid-season, it’s not like their fans will be mad at the potential of yet again having 2 lottery picks with one that may net them an all-star. There would be way more excitement for them both locally and nationally.

The Bucks don't own their 2025 pick so they have no incentive to tank. Philly don't own their pick either unless it's 1-6 (protected) but their bad start can be attributed to injuries to Embiid & PG & now Maxey, so their record will improve once they all return.

If there's a dark horse tanker, it could be Orlando. They've been terrible since Banchero's injury and he's out indefinitely to be re-evaluated in 4-6 weeks, so we're likely talking 2+ months before he actually returns including rehab. Wagner has stepped up but they're 1-5 since Banchero went down.

They've started to figure out how to incorporate him better. They could go to him a lot more still. I can't blame them for going to Ja though, dude's unreal.

Tank battles are fierce. I think we're gonna have a .500 month when the whole squad is healthy and that'll take us out of the top (bottom) 5.

.500 just leaves us in no man's land. Better to pick a direction, even if that means getting worse in the short term.

Lol the nets breaking their winning streak is hilarious. If we get healthy and our FO pushes for wins, they all need to be fired. We are primed for a top 5 pick. All the teams everyone said would be out tanking us with ease, we are worse than, we have the head start, we can't **** this up.

Zion out indefinitely again…they may have 2 lottery picks & are looking to trade BI. The Pels are the ones to watch imo.
