In general, you don't see many RBs go in the first anymore and most are valuable for the life of their rookie contract.

I think in the Giants' specific case of Barkley, I think every NFL fan knows he wouldn't have matched his current success in Philly whether you blame the o-line's run blocking and/or the coaching staff.

I agree he likely wouldn't have matched his current success here in NY so he had to go too but it is def a no brainer who should've gotten paid if we were choosing between them two, which is what the Giants did. It's a bad look imo
