pacers are down 3 rotation players right now and still played a full bench.

when we lose a player thibs just gives more mintues to the starters...he is a good foundation builder but he is way out of his element coaching this style of basketball.

I know it's the g League but TJ Warren was a legit good NBA player. No harm giving him a shot.... We could def use some bench scoring help

There is a BUNCH OF CHEMISTRY that still has to settle in.

But.....you saw Thibs start to blitz and hedge Towns....thats huge.

Its gonna come.

But the other Thibs weakness: overplaying guys and the 4th Q was a reflection of them tiring.

my only saving grace keeping me sane atm is in 2022-2023 after 9 games we were 4-5.. last year after 9 we were 5-4… this year 4-5.. seems to be a trend

I seriously do not understand why the Knicks aren't shooting way more 3s. They just keep wanting to drive in, after like the 100th time of doing the same thing the Pacers are meeting the Knicks in the paint with like 3 different Pacers forcing the Knicks to either shoot an contested shot or awkwardly passing the ball through traffic. Seriously this is so frustrating, this isn't even a chemistry issue this is a lack of common sense issue. SHOOT MORE THREES. That's why you made the trade to space the floor, but if you're not shooting any threes then why would they defend it? That's why the Pacers exploded in the 4th because they just let it ripped and because they were willing to let it rip from 3 they opened up the floor. It's so annoying losing games because they're not using their brains

Despite the lack of threes the Knicks managed to put up 121 points. The offense is not lacking and can beat most if not all teams in this league. The defense on the other hand is atrocious but I won't truly judge it until we have two of our defensive anchors back. Most of you will probably disagree but we are making progress.

I don’t see this current incarnation as better than last season but it’s a very long season. They can turn it around but the chemistry and culture feels different. Defensively they are terrible because KAT provides zero rim protection.

There is most definitely a settling in process for a Thibs team. And those teams didnt have nearly the roster turnover this one has.
