I have complete faith in Alex Mckechnie to come through for us.

Almost feels too good to be true lol

If we land a top 3 pick, personally I’m 100% confident we’d become like another “ORL” (or better) where we start being considered as a team on the come up and eventual contender. Just gotta stay the course!!

Scottie paired with any one of the top guys this upcoming draft would be a dream come true.

If we hold the line, we get a top 5 pick. Feels good.

If Barnes didn't get hurt, this team could be 7-4.

There are not that many teams openly tanking this year. Washington and Portland are just horribly run and nobody knows what they are doing. Charlotte and Detroit are under mandates to win.

Utah is the only team, other than us IMO, that is openly tanking. (They are not going to pass up this chance with the consensus #1 pick being a white guy).

Still would've lost to the Cavs in game 1.

Second time I'm having to say this today, but "If my grandma had wheels, she'd be a bike". If other teams had no injuries maybe we lose them anyways, or maybe GD/RJ play worse and so on.

What happened, happened. We're 2-9 and shall be bad for the foreseeable future, enjoy the ride.

Process > Results.

Simply looking at record and saying “other teams are hurt to” is just the absolute worst way to analyze the current situation. That is ignoring a number of factors such as:

1) not all injuries are equal
2) we have been significantly more injured than teams we’ve played
3) our schedule has been the hardest in the NBA.

Good analysis would incorporate all those factors into the 11 games we’ve played. Bad analysis would say “my grandma would be a bike with wheels.

It’s just incomprehensible to on one hand think Barnes is a stud player (like you and many of us do) and on the other hand think him playing wouldn’t improve our team. Pick a lane. You don’t get to sit on both sides.

Regarding my 3 points, those are definitive unarguable FACTS. Considering eventually we will play worse teams than what we have, and it’s unlikely we will be missing 50% or more of our teams rotation all season, it’s just not a logical conclusion that our 2-9 record is indicative of what this team will be all year.
