Hahaha.... For real? I was just saying to myself.... "Man ... Fultz would be good right about now" ... "I wouldn't be surprised if we dropped Joseph and signed fultz". And no.... Not trying to make this into another argument. Lol

My projection for him at the moment is Ingles with elite defense but less sharpshooting and more driving. Lonzo Ball-ish.

I’ll be interested to see how much he can improve his scoring since he really doesn’t have any consistent moves yet. Once he finds a spot he likes to score from he can build on that.

In college he comped with Bruce Brown, Kemba Walker, and SGA. Last season he comped with Bruce Bowen and Andre Iguodala.

There are a lot of different elements to unpack there.
1. Elite defensive ceiling
2. Good playmaking
3. Hi free throw rate
4. Great penetration

If he hits, he's an all-star

I think he can be a solid starter some day maybe even one of those fringe all star players if he really hits on his potential.... For now though I think he's a solid bench contributor.... His issues are his timidness when it comes to offense.... If he plays more like he did in that second half of last game then he'll help us surely.... Mose needs him in the pick and roll a lot more

I like this one a lot...not incoming Magic 2.0 Lonzo, but mature, heady Lonzo. I don't see (or need) All-Star but he could be the kind of guy that just makes winning decisions on both ends in an oversized, 2-way package. The Bulls were the story of the NBA when Lonzo was healthy and they were an absolute "who thought this mismatched roster could ever..." as soon as he got hurt.

My only question for him is " consistency"

He played great against IND but he kinda disappeared the past 2 ganes before that.

I want him to do it every game. Not be like a MoeSwag where he looks like white-hakeem for 1 game followed by 3 games of Pat Garrity.

Unfortunately, for whatever reason, and believe me, we finger pointed the reasons ALL last season. This is Blacks first NBA go at ball handling PG / Point Foward / Whatever.

On top of that, he has been given more opportunity in the first 9 games then all last season combined. I wish he would suddenly blow up for 18ppg too, but this whole "wish he brings us consistency" is both a shared sentiment, but also a super unrealistic one. The time to unfortunately do some of that was sacrificially last year.

Now, with the stakes raised, and again I repeat before Paolo injury the amount of faith Mose put in him was already night and day being the second unit player of the bench. This is like whiplash levels of responsibility. Combine that with suddenly you become 1 tier higher on the scoring depth chart while still being a facilitator. Well. We are going to take our much needed lumps for him to figure it out.

Feels like he is still learning his powers, his drives to the basket at the end of Indiana game were awsome and we kind of need it badly.

Im not talking about getting near career-highs from him every game. The consistency Im talking about is showing you belong. Do not disappear and look like a GL-call up in some games but get revenge with a big game in the next.

But I guess I am giving a pass esp cuz of Paolo out. Seems like the entire team cannot function well without him. Also.. I admit these 6-9 games are a small sample size. We will see in game 20.

The guy is just in his second year. And probably the first year he really has REAL opportunity to be who he is. Just take it slow.

Also, He isn’t built to score, imo.

From the New Orleans game - Drives

AB with 10 drives, scoring 3 times on 4 attempts, making 4 passes and creating 2 assists from those, with 1 turnover.

Good aggressive numbers for him. I know he was playing a depleted Pelicans bench but I’ll take the gains in confidence any day.

Slowly getting more and more comfy in his own skin. He doesn't seem like #1 option material but slowly making a case for potential #3 / #2 territory.

that one definitely caught my eye...sweet. Especially, with someone yelling "who's stopping ball". Smart, aggressive, opportunistic...good stuff.
