I bumped in to Drake, and it was just a fleeting moment, but lets just say humility was the last descriptor I would ever use to describe that experience.

I also would love to sit down with the Weekend. The guy lived on the streets, he is sensitive about his lack of formal education, and he seems like a dude I would love to talk to and I also have a preference for his music. He truly is an interesting cat.

He's a true Scarborough Manz. I know some people who were friends with him growing up and they all say that he was just a pretty good dude. Liked to have fun, was into music, and wasn't arrogant... at all. Good rizz on that guy. He was also a pretty responsible young man lol he'd take care of the younger habesha/Ethiopian boys in his area when he was, himself, a kid.

Too bad he completely abandoned Toronto.

Why does anyone need to have loyalty to where they grew up? If someone wants to move elsewhere to live their life with their family then what's the issue? Has he ever been considered a brand Ambassador for the Raptors?

His longevity is actually insane and he keeps getting more efficient.

He will likely finish top 20 all-time in points.

He's 100% making the hall of fame just based on his longevity. Pretty impressive cause the league has basically made his scoring style obsolete.

It also shows that the song kinda bites.

edit: my friend told me he played this song repeatedly at a concert in NYC I believe. If so, I would want my money back.

edit ii: just because you read it online doesn't make it true.

I think he's maintained longevity because 1) he's been healthy 2) he's been accurately paid and 3) he's an excellent teammate.

And 4) incredible work-ethic - he's somehow managed to make improvements every single season. Since leaving Toronto he's become a very good facilitator that can run an offense and has become significantly more efficient as a scorer. That's a testament to him doing whatever he can to solve his weaknesses.

They don't need to, but doing so would show loyalty, just like you said. It's fine if he wants to live elsewhere, but it would be nice if he gave back to the community (other than people that are just his friends). Throw a music festival, show up to some local sports games, shout out the city in some songs.

They think the song is anti-Canada, critical thought was never a strong suit to begin with.
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

Or ya know, the part of the song where he literally says

“i’m glad deroz’ came home yall didn’t deserve him neither”

Or the fact that you have the kings owner wearing this at a raptors game. Don't let the obvious hit you on your way out Mr. Critical thinker

Yall are taking this way to much to heart. The entire song is directed at drake. Don’t read too much into it.

And I don’t care wtf the kings East Indian owner does. It has 0 impact

Hard to defend that. Should have just challenged Kendrick to a boxing fight instead lol.
