no one is getting easy ones unless its in transition.

In the 4th Indy was getting a lot of open looks for Turner and others, in halfcourt. Knicks should be getting the same by JB isn't that kind of playmaker.

I’ll take a stopgap over him, I’m dead serious too.

As someone else mentioned Bridges didn't lose his defense driving over the Brooklyn Bridge. It will be fine once he is settled in with this group. He's been an elite defender for 2 different teams.

Brunson also has to point guard an entire new team there is some getting adjusted to when to drive or dish.

My worry is less offense and more defense. Can Thibs play more switching without too much drop? We saw it for moments vs Pacers.

This is a Thibs problem or the defense isn't listening to him. I haven't bothered listening in to his post-game comments after loses, but every one and their mother is calling the current defense scheme inadequate. And I don't know how it looks with a healthy Mitch/Precious.

I also rather have Kolek/Ariel get some trail by fire -- this early in the season -- then playing basically a 6.5 man rotation. Not acceptable. I defended it earlier in the season for chemistry reasons, but right now there are obviously some tired legs out there.

Don't forget the other big factor here: Acclamation process. Coaches have to learn the players.Players have to learn the coaches. Adjustments have to be made. Sometimes you get lucky and things Click pretty quickly other times it takes twenty to thirty games.

The drop coverage is bologna unless they're suppose to be fighting over screens/picks. And even so, I don't think acclamation is a valid excuse for a 6.5 man rotation.
