This team is a top 6 seed if we could stay healthy the whole year but we know thats not likely to happen

To collect that play-in revenue.

Was this the best half Pat has ever played? There are probably some others, but this feels up there. He's been very good on both ends of the floor.

That’s what I’ve been saying.

Just enjoy competitive hoops for 40 games when Vuc and Zach get shipped out and Dalen Terry gets 35mpg and we go streaking with losses.

Well we cant do anything until a trade is made. We have a lot of severe issues with the team but I think it was Marc Stein that said, we actually have too many good players to just be a bottom 5 team.

If any of Coby, Pat, Ayo, Giddey start playing consistently well, that is certainly enough to knock teams off if we still have Zach and Vooch.

Strangely enough, and I cant believe I am saying this, Vooch would cause us to stay in the play in mix more than Zach.

Vooch is playing at an allstar level right now and if guys are feeding off of him, that is still a decent team around him. If You remove Vooch though, we drop all the way down to Smith and Sanogo. That would make us significantly terrible.

I think that was always the 'plan'. Stay competitive and boost up the trade value of our veterans as much as possible and then trade them off at the deadline. Imagine a 82 game season watching Terry & Sanogo play heavy minutes? At least we're fun to watch at the moment.

After the trade deadline, I'm sure we'll see a lot of development time for Matas, Phillips, Terry etc. and be hilariously bad and then keep our top 10 pick.

Pat played a really solid first half. But I want to see what he does in the second half. He did this a few games back then went 0-fer for the second half. Not even a single rebound.

Lets see if there is any growth.

This is an under-discussed problem with Pat. He's a 1 half player. He's had lots of games throughout his career where he's good in the first half and disappears in the second. Will be great if he can string together two solid halves of good play.

I'll go ahead and make a sig bet that Mikal is better by RPM this year than Zach.

We’re a lot better when our shots drop, eh?

We’re bad when our shots don’t drop, eh?

We better get something of value because your scenario sounds like a team that gives their pick to the Spurs

You think this team is really gonna sell when they're in the middle of the playoffs? That's not the Bulls

Im hoping someone in that front office has common sense. We still have a hard enough schedule to still lose these games. I really want to get something done before we hit our weaker part of the schedule. So those crazy thoughts dont enter in the picture.
