He really did play great even before his scoring spree in q4. He could have easily had a few more assists with the passing he was doing.

I think the weird lineups have killed the Bulls alot this season. Even if Billy goes to it for 5 minutes. Sometimes that is enough like tonight.

I wanted to win this one. Zach just looked deflated at the end.

He's cementing himself as a 6th man kind of guy, when you need a spark off the bench. We can't depend on him when we need him to be "the guy", and yet he looks lost at times when we have Lavine and another guard in there.

The coaching didn’t help. Billy sat there and watched their bench get them back in the game. Didn’t adjust or call a timeout. Just watched it go down.

But we lost because of turnovers. The pace is great, but it comes with more turnovers. Happens. Have to clean it up.

We watch him use THT and let him destroy the team.

That man turned it over and was a fouling machine.

I could tolerate it from Mateas even Phillips. But a minimum contract scrub.

He should have helped Vuc. He just stood there and let Garland score.

Yea too many dumb decisions by Coby down the stretch. Not swinging the ball to the open Zach in the corner, not passing ahead to Ayo on the fast break, threw the ball to nobody because he was moving too fast, etc. Still ended the night with decent numbers, but those gaffes were costly.

Difference between winning and losing.

Bad teams are teams that make crappy decisions.

I thought his decision making got a lot better last year, but maybe with the increased pace the game is now becoming too fast again for him.

Pace has us beating ourselves with turnovers. More reps and Lonzo will help a lot with that though.

We have Jalen and Zo we win that game no problem. Both would have helped big time when they went small and won the game.

That’s the game. They went small and played zone. We looked lost and then lost the lead.

Did we get a double-double out of Patrick Williams? Is that like his 2nd ever?

Didn't watch the game. But looking at the quarterly score seems like close game. Streakbuster would've been fun.

We gave it a good run. Played their stars straight up, but unfortunately their two bench guys, Niang and Jerome, proved the difference. (I would write "fortunately" if we were a true tanking team, but we are not.)

Honestly, it was a moral victory. Our guys played about as well as I've seen against a good team, especially on defense. If not for all of the TO's (some of that was due to really good defense by CLE), we could have one. If Ball played, we probably would have won. Pat seemed like a different guy out there...he was really good on defense and seemed much more aggressive on the boards and didn't try to attack the rim (which is a good thing is his case). I really wanted Ayo to snatch that starting job from Coby this season, but his offense (esp. his 3pt shooting) has been bad.

I can never stand Niang. Punchable face. The fact that he's winning, taunting his opponents, and smirking in that Dad bod really aggravates me. Ironically he's probably the only thing to do with Hoiberg that's going well in the league.

Hilariously terrible 59-second-stretch by THT yesterday. Clamped by Sam Merrill on one end, unable to keep Georges Niang (!!!) in front on the other.

A true tank commander who will use every second he gets.

As always, the Bulls' outcome is determined by threes and turnovers. They did all right from 3, but 21 TO turning into 35 Cavs points sealed the deal.

Like others have said, pretty much what you want this season. A fun, competitive loss against a good team.
