Yeah, he is going after that title this year. You can be sure about that.

Someone should tell Giannis he will get zero consideration for MVP if his team sucks even if he is the scoring leader.

Giannis is just scoring because Dame can't make a 3. Dude is under 35% from distance.

Depth is winning NBA titles atm. We don’t anywhere near enough of it.

The biggest issue on the team right now if Brook. He has fallen off a cliff on offense and defense. If you could get a 3 and D center it would solve a lot of the Giannis and Dame problems.

It's Brook, Bobby, Prince, GTJr, Pat, Wright - they're either not NBA quality players anymore or in a serious funk that they can't find a way out of. Then you've the conga line of young guys who either aren't ready (AJJ) or aren't up to it (Marjon).

Midds will solve some problems when back, but we need one of the young guys to finally pop (unlikely) or hope 2 or 3 of our vets can rediscover their form.

In reality though, this is all heading to the good old days of the Bucks trading trash for trash and hoping/praying something works. Like we're not far off say a Bobby for Tim Hardaway Jr trade or a Brook for Grant Williams deal.

I think the FO will pin their hopes on Midds coming back and the ship turning around, but if it doesn't time to buckle up for all time **** trades.

Did you mean competitive? Because it would be really funny to make an AI joke where the word is wrong.

Haha, yup. Competitive. Is completive really a word?

Geez bros... I meant A.I.- Artificial Intelligence... the court is like the matrix to him.. he does all high TS type things he calculates from studying their D.

Also he's very competitive but just his body language gets misunderstood.. he's more zen than the guys you compare him too.. i think he's actually trying to be Andre Miller or some smooth version of Steve Nash but again... those MFers all need the ball... but they do pass their a$$ off if dudes cut right and make their shots

Prince is okay but needs to stay in his reduced role. He is also being ask to guard premiere players at a longer clip than he can handle especially when he is ask to lock up guards. If Bobby, Trent Jr, and Lopez were all shooting 35% consistently from 3 the team would look a lot better.

I still think a Lopez trade is needed. I'd risk bringing in a John Collins but would settle for a 3 team trade getting back Paul Reed, Kenrich Williams, and Jaylin Williams. In a dream world the Bucks would get Cason Wallace but I doubt they trade him.

Agreed with Lopez. Just not sure who wants him and how we get a replacement center in return.

Khris was dominant winning the Conference Finals and dominant winning the NBA Finals, 2 things Dame has never done.

With players over 100 minutes this season, AJ Green is leading in TS%

Maybe we should run some off ball actions for him.

I saw something similar on twitter and think it could work for all parties. Doubt Ainge does it though

MKE: Sexton, Kessler, Kenrich Williams
Utah: Brook, Marjon, mke 31 1st, okc 1st, OKC 2nd
OKC: Bobby

That trade was bad, but not that bad at the time. 2nds were worth pretty much nothing pre 2nd apron.

It became an exceedingly awful trade as soon as the new cba rules were done.

It would be interesting to see what else he is capable of. He's an elite catch-and-shoot 3 point shooter, but could he be what Kyle Korver was? Can he attack and create off of an aggressive close-out on him? He's certainly earned a bigger role.

He was a lead guard in college so I think there may be a few more tools in the toolbag, definitely our best young player. Definitely need to get him more looks with the way this team shoots usually.

Ainge would say no. He wanted two firsts for Kessler alone. And Utah has no reason for Brook Lopez. Send him to LA and have LA send Utah some picks.

Which years are those two firsts? And are their protections? Makes all of difference in the world. An OKC first is not worth much. That team is going to be amazing for a long long time.

So Caruso forgot how to shoot? Sounds like he's now a fit in Milwaukee. Horst must be licking his chops.

Latest Bill Simmons has Bill examining Giannis trade scenarios with Brooklyn and Houston as his "only two realistic options." He then asks Sal and Sir Rudy (i know) if there are other teams he missed and neither can really think of any besides golden state

I feel like im going insane...how is OKC not a match?

I know Hartenstein cant be traded at the moment but he can be later in the season and its not like they are in danger of missing the playoffs if they cant get Giannis soon. Hartenstein and whoever plus picks is an easy trade and they can beat any offer. What am i missing?

Basically its

Hartenstein
Wiggins
One of the guys making ~$5M
Mountain of picks

Zion being out 4-6 weeks with a hamstring strain makes me think they need a big that much more if they want to maintain until he gets back and not have Zion overdo it without help upfront when he does.

Simmons is a dumbass that trade sucks. There is no poo poo platter of mediocre picks and role players that I would ever accept. Horst shouldn’t even be on the job, he’s gotta go.

Jalen Williams is the only starting point for an OKC trade. I’m not even entertaining OKC as a potential trade partner if he’s not the 1st player offered in the deal. Then we can talk about a “mountain of picks” and fillers.

Bill Simmons is a moron and a total Boston dick rider. He’d love nothing more than to see Giannis go to a team that still won’t be able to compete in the East with Boston (Brooklyn) or still won’t be able to compete for a title out west (Houston) and that’s why he says that BS.

There’s 10 billion things I’d rather do than waste hours of my life listening to that ass clown talk about the NBA. He should get a job for the Boston Herald and leave it at that.
RIP Kobe Forever. GOAT 8-24. Long Live Giannis
