Flopbiid is going to shoot more free throws then the entire Knicks team.

Yet somehow the Knicks will build a double digit lead in the third ....and then run out of gas and lose the game by double digits.

KAT has been on a tear offensively lately. Big test for him tonight to see if he can outplay Embiid. I hope he doesn’t get into foul trouble.

To be fair, which bigs in the entire league can "outplay Embiid"?

So I don't see how it is realistic to expect KAT to do so. KAT will get his usual 22 PT 10 REB.

Joel will get his points because that's what a league MVP does. And the refs will ensure it.

However the Knicks have been letting role players drop career highs on them and bomb away from 3 in losses...and that is the test.

Can Wingstop lock down the perimeter and can we stop the rest of the team?

Can we keep the role players from going off and getting career highs?

It's the most pointless thing I've seen since I bought 2 jerseys in 2XL at the NBA store back in 2010. These things fit me like bed sheets.

Unfortunately I just don't see the defense improving until we get a rim protector back. I'd like them to continue building chemistry and decrease the stagnation we see sometimes. Expectations should continue to be low.

assuming we get lucky and no one gets injured- the bold is the only PLUS I see for a 6 man rotation for our team.

Won't this be Embiids first action on the court this season? I'm sure he will be a little rusty. Paul George doesnt have it in him to carry a team by himself at this stage of his career. This should be a solid win.

More often then not the Knicks have not been a party spoiler. I won't be shocked on an L.

Imagine your the FO of a supposed contender and you build out the end of your bench with a raw French project, a college player who is hurt and won't play for a year, and a project big drafted at the end of the 2nd round.
But at least it's offset by a rookie PG who can't defend anyone

Yes. Allegedly, anyway. KFS' latest Pod went into the stat as well because they were skeptical on where that number came from.

This time they certainly cannot blame it on cohesion. Embiid is the type of player Towns should match up favorably with, and Philly didn’t have any time together as a team either. The pressure is up, there are no excuses in this one. If we don’t win it, critical views will have all the leverage. And while I’m convinced that we’ve assembled a very nice squad, I’m not convinced that we’ll actually win this one.

No, Bontemps got frequency and makes mixed up and ran with it, now everybody is doing the same.

Mikal, Hart and OG are 3rd,4th and 6th in minutes per game, and surprise surprise the guys that were 1 and 2 in MPG are already hurt. We're operating on borrowed time right now.
