I don't give a crap about the cup from a title standpoint. I care about the guys on the low end of the Celtics salary table getting a massive half-million bonus. It's not an inconsequential amount of money for a lot of our guys.

As far as this game goes, I was looking at who the Hawks will be missing and who the C's can afford to miss. I can't see a C's team minus JT and Al losing to a Hawks team minus Trae, Bogdan and Hunter.

If JT's ankle isn't good enough to go and this game determines whether or not they win the cup, my thought is "Who gives a crap about the cup". That's where I was going with it. I want him healthy and I want the Cavs to be undefeated until the final buzzer on Tuesday.

It means a little something that Drew Peterson has been assigned to Boston while Maine's been playing games. The front office is taking him seriously. If they didn't think he had almost-ready potential, he would have been developing in Long Island and Delaware this week, not acclimating to the NBA. It's a positive signal.

If both Tatum and Horford are out tonight, who knows, anybody could play.

He plays within himself, doesn't try to do more than he needs and knows, calm and poised

So is this the game in which Mazzulla (as some here suggested too) sells precaution to Jayson and he acquiesces? It's a home game against the Hawks without Trae Young. Is Joe also doing this to boost Jaylen's confidence back? He needs a big game imo.
