Jackson Height/Elmhurst has EVERYTHING to eat. Ok, sprinkle in some Sunnyside.

I've had Nepalese, Tibetan, Thai, Mexican and Columbian food from the area in just the past few months.

1000%. I have family on the border of Elmhurst and Jackson Heights, and whenever I stay there i can't even begin to describe to people that aren't familiar with it just how good I eat. Feels like a great version of every imaginable cultural food from around the world, in an incredibly accessible format. If you aren't familiar with the area, it's really difficult to fathom, but it is CRAZY.

When I'm in Jamaica Queens I'm going straight to that place that sells jerk chicken sandwiches on coco bread. In that alley by all the parking lots. I don't know any of the streets by name, just by sight.

WHen you find it, let me know, because I don't know where it is. Of course, I only take subways and don't drive, so I don't know about parking lots.

They expanded and opened a couple of storefronts but the more hole in the wall place in the one I liked.

I grew up by Elmhurst Hospital near where all the Thai restaurants are at, so it will always be home to me. That area is probably the most diverse neighborhood in the world. Now I live in San Diego, just a different pace.

I know a win is a win but I am concerned with what appears to be an inability by the coaches or the players to make things easy for KAT. It always seems that he has to bleed for his points. Team needs to do a better job of spotting him or putting him in better positions to score. KAT is a great passer anyway and knows how to deal with double or triple teams so you could really make him be the focal point in offense.

Held the Sixers to under 100 which is great for the defensive rating. Beat them by 12 which is great for the NBA Cup seeding. And before any of yall come trying to downplay this win by saying "They didn't have Maxey!" The Knicks didnt have Brunson tonight either so all's fair.

Yes they did. But it was a solid win.

I love this too. It turned the game around. I love what he did and how he showed them they can't maul him like that without paying a big price. KAT is the real deal.

good game from kat, he started off with a purpose and also his passing was on point. good to get payne back even though he didnt play well. brunson seems to be figuring things out still, he will be ok.

Individual under performance is of no concern to me at all. Brunson being garbage water at times to begin this season, Bridges not looking right, etc. They're all issues that have have large sample sizes suggesting it's certainly a passing moment brought about by lack of familiarity or role comfort. My only concerns remain philosophical coaching ones.

But damn though - on nights like tonight you can see things not even remotely close to right or correct, and yet the talent, ability, and potential of this roster is screaming off the screen watching the game. The chance this team has if they can get the cohesiveness, commitment, and agreed upon system down is just astronomical compared to anything we've seen in decades. They have it ALL to be in the mix.

Its coming together. We need Precious back bad to add a guy who can play 5 significantly better than Sims
