Wait my brain is fried I totally forgot Bojan was traded for Mikal

I mean, I think he'll be fine. But I'm still nervous about him because of the cost.

He made the list, it's the picks we need to accept as a cost we may regret. I am over it though. When this team finds their groove we will be a problem. Those picks won't matter at all if we make the finals.

I mean long term as long as Brunson, OG and KAT are here i doubt that those picks yield any value for Milwaukee.

(Yes, I absolutely expect the Nets to trade them to the Bucks)

Why would you expect the Bucks to want them? For Giannis? How would that work? The Nets trade everyone worth anything plus the those picks for Giannis? He's not going to an empty roster/rebuild.

He should be over on the Raps board of that was his intention. He's trying to save face over here. It isn't working at all though. Randle is gone.

nah, we all do the same sht. Couple weeks ago when rj was lying we were seeing some post about how well he was doing. It's how it goes here - we post about the good times and bad times of exKnicks to further our agendas. The game is the game.

Ofc not everyone but some do. You just don't like it when certain ones do it one way but overlook it when others do it. That's selective or maybe I missed it when you were telling the barbs to go to the raps board when they were posting his highlights around here. In that case - have at it.

Though I did not want to trade Towns for Randle, I understand why the team did it and I still think Randle will be good for my squad this season. He was not good last night and his defense has been weak. Towns was a huge part of our defense last season and is sorely missed but I also think we failed to optimize Towns on offense, he was playing at about 70 percent of his offensive potential for us and we couldn't unlock him properly at PF.

I think Julius will be able to thrive a lot more at the 4 on offense but we will take a hit with the defense. I am not too worried, we might take a step back this season but I don't think Randle will be trash and I do think Dante will be awesome once he finds his grove. I also firmly believe Towns is best at center and the Knicks need to keep him there.

Yeah. Rough patch for Randle right now and we'll undoubtedly have that with KAT at some point (or not, who knows).

No. I don't really gaf at all but, when people can't take getting their balls busted back then they need to stop. Playing the victim is weak.

I haven't watched many T-Wolves game this season. How's the PG situation there? Every time I do catch a game, Mike just seems like a less efficient CP.

You will find that Randle will never play defense with much effort at all. You will find that he can have great night's shooting from three. You will find that if his shot isn't falling his defense will be worse and he will walk around with no energy crying to the refs. He can score. He can pass. He will hunt rebounds instead of playing defense or boxing out. He is a head case. He is talented and he can shine with the ball in his hands but, he doesn't offer much off ball. You better hope he doesn't sign an extension for more than what he's making now.

Donte was weak off the bench for us. He didn't shine until he was the starter. He can get hot from downtown and almost look like Steph Curry. He's got some dog in him for sure. Hated including him in the trade but, that's the cost of getting rid of Randle for any real talent.

Conley has fallen off a cliff so far. I think he will get back to form but this could also be him just finally getting old and falling off. Dante and Alexander-Walker are playing backup PG by committee and doing ok. Rob Dillingham is the heir to the throne but he has barely played as he is a rookie and the coach is pulling a thibs and playing a really short rotation right now. Rob probably isn't ready either.

I appreciate the input. I still think we can get shot creation out of Randle and I think we a player is engaged, they can play well. That said, there is the reality he will be pretty bad for us. In that case, it will suck but we can move on from him after this season, I don't think we will lock him in unless he fits very well.

More than anything this was a move for flexibility as the new apron rules really screwd us. We made the trade before the apron stuff was know.
