They aren't going to stop the threes if teams are taking 40 and we refuse to switch. The problem is that we defend like stopping twos is more important than stopping threes.

Difference is they chase guys off the 3 and prioritize defending the 3. Thibs would rather give up open 3s and pack the paint. That has been his philosophy his entire career and it worked pretty well before 3’s became the focal point of most offenses

in mitch's last 5 games against the pacers we won 4-1. thibs teams are just much better with a dominant rim protector. im not much of a mitch fan you know that, but he's had the most success with that
