We had 1 in the second half from Pritch. I knew that would end in the 2nd half. As a team we weren’t turnover prone last season. The two guys who had all of them weren’t going to keep that up!

That last possession in the JT video highlights what I love about White. Just a really fundamentally sound player. JT is iso-dribbling on the right wing. The old Celtics would just have 4 other guys standing still and watching JT do his thing. White knows the entire Nets defense is focused on what JT is about to do, so he tells Luke to move towards the dunker spot so he can occupy the corner. Just a split second of confusing Luke's defender gives JT time to throw the lob. Nothing complicated, nothing fancy. He doesn't even get credit for the two points but it's two easy points for the team.

Didn't catch the game and only watched the highlights, but one question I have from looking at the box score is how did Queta only get 1 board in 21 minutes?

In fairness Luke only got 3 in 27 and both teams shot above 50% from the floor, but Queta can be allergic to them some games despite his size/length. Maybe tonight was just one of those nights the ball bounced the wrong way though, it happens.

Hope Sam's slow start to the season from 3 is just down to the back issues he was fighting early on, but good to see him get 10 shots up and stay at 40%. Pritchard has been the bench star of the season so far, thought he'd consistently play 2nd fiddle to Sam but would say he's on equal footing now.

The impact on the defensive end for Pritchard hasn't quite been there, but the effort is really noticeable. When Hauser started consistently holding his own on that end, that's when I felt he really turned the corner from niche roleplayer to legitimate playoff rotation piece. PP's size will always be a problem, so not sure he gets all the way there, but that high intensity will go a long way towards bridging the gap.

Just the 2nd 35 pt-10 ast game of JT's career. Bird had 18 of those. Kyrie in 2nd spot with 3. Pierce surprisingly never had one. The other PP (Payton Pritchard) has one.
