To be fair, a lot of shooting at the pro level is getting your shot off well in minimal space. A giant like Eddy never has to worry about getting his shot blocked or altered so it's a lot easier to just focus on the mechanics.

Kudos to him though. People were chomping at the bit to write him off.

I disagree on Cade but even if we all concede that both are better, there is nothing we could have done different. They were both picked ahead of Scottie. IMO none of the 3 are looking like they will be franchise players on a legit contending team.

Mobley also has the least amount of pressure of the 3 and is in an amazing situation.

Trade rumours around Giannis and all don't happen unless he comes out for it, but the Pels have such perfect fitting salary pieces that it makes for an interesting decision either way.

Giannis/Lopez for either Zion/Ingram + CJ and all the Bucks picks/swaps back (plus more picks if Ingram).

It's a no-brainer on the Pels side in either situation for me. The Bucks...you don't do it if you don't have to, and you might just rather have another team tank for you instead (taking an OKC picks package) considering the sorry state of the east.

I think Cade has definitely looked much better or atleast he’s able to look better due to finally having somewhat competent players beside him.

Mobley is just kinda out of the convo IMO. He has 0 pressure to carry any sort of load on offence. All he needs to do is focus on defence and rim run.

Agreed with your assessment though. I think it’s pretty clear now that there’s no player in this draft that will be as good as Ant Edwards which means there’s no real #1 option in the draft.

Especially impressive after Cade missed a whole season with injury

He will take Detroit into the play in this year... imo

With how garbage the East is...that still might not be much of an accomplishment

Did the Raptors trade an injury prone player in OG for and injury prone player in IQ? Already injured multiple times to start the season and they have only played 11 games. I am worried.

OG led the Knicks in scoring with 24 including 6-7 dunks. 6 boards. Six Knicks in double figures. KAT is really good, made a slick behind the head pass you'll see on highlights.

Sixer rookie Jared McCain is going to be good. Jeff Dowtin 22 minutes.

Embiid was rusty tonight, except his flop game was in peak form

Why exactly would Giannis want to go to that Pels situation again, especially if they need to trade away a guy like Zion and CJ in order to get him? Zion is never healthy and Ingram doesn't move the needle. They've been trying to move Ingram for a while and there's not many takers.

The Bucks won't trade Giannis somewhere he doesn't want to go because that's how the league works now.

I wouldn't put it past him for a last ditch effort to tank a must lose game.

What's killing the Bucks is that they are old, injured and have no depth. The idea of the team isn't a problem if all the core pieces weren't passed their prime. That's not really the Pels problem, and they present a similar profile to his champ team. They are young, but experienced, and would still have enough solid depth after that trade.

Another problem for the Giannis trade scenarios, is that he bristles at the thought of playing a bit more like a role player (setting screens and rolling a lot more). Going to the Pels he'd still be the top guy with the players around him deferring. In OKC, he'd have the same pressures to give more of the shine to SGA and Chet that he does with Lillard noe. Debatable where his mind would be on these scenarios.

LeBron with another monster triple double
2019 Eastern Conference All Stars

Derozan
Lowry
Ibaka
Valanciunas
Van Vleet
Delon Wright
Lebron
Embiid

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

If it was fair then you''d have 7-footers like Shaq, Yao, Hakeem, etc., shooting 3's from all over, but it's actually the opposite. Edey won't ever shoot like Dirk, but he's already shot more 3's in his first dozen games than Poeltl has over his 10-yr career.

It's likely we tried to tank hard last year was for Edey. He's a hard worker with good BBIQ and would fit in nicely with Barnes & Dick. Masai wishes that pick he traded for Poeltl wasn't so lightly protected or shouldn't have happened at all. Big fail.

Shaq Yao and Hakeem played in a very different NBA. Why not look at modern bigs where a lot of them can shoot it.
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.
