Sometimes I hate being right. This is one of those times.

Before this game my realistic wish was winning one of next three. Playing .500 ball until KD is back would be great.

Eh this would’ve been a loss no matter what considering the circumstances. Not much to draw from this game.

Sucks to waste a great game from Okogie. He’ll probably never score 25 again in his career.

This team goes as far as KD takes them and he needs to be on a minutes restriction so he doesn't completely break down at the end of the season.

Beal might need a minutes restriction too seeing how he's already missed a few games with various injuries which does not bode well. Also don't be fooled by our hot start, the West is again quite competitive so a bad losing streak could land us in the play in spot which almost happened to us last season.

We had a good opportunity with some points up in the 3rd quarter but Fox took over, we couldn't stop his dribble penetration and everything went wrong after that.

Some positives. Okogie is a reliable option whenever we need him. He played great on both sides.

Dunn continues to get valuable experience playing 28 minutes. 10 points and a couple blocks, I like how he always contest every shot at the rim.

Bad shooting night from Royce O'Neale. Book was meh.

Bad overall game from Nurkic...he always brings the ball down around the rim and makes it easy for defenders. He looked out of rhythm and needing a couple more days of rest.

Hopefully Beal is back for the next one, we are gonna need him @ OKC.

Book making Suns basketball a "What else is on" experience.

It was all about that 3rd contract and shoe deal. Send him to Portland.

https://www.brightsideofthesun.com/2024/11/14/24296279/plumlee-and-ighodaro-from-promise-to-peril-in-a-back-to-back-nba-phoenix-suns-sacramento-kings?fbclid=IwY2xjawGjyBNleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHV2ibni8-aUg_GDNJy6k_YBS2R-KTWBBN9_Wzj_FwIT6IMdYpJ_WTZbIvA_aem_eadQjaM-ia94s6lCEa_m2Q

The Suns’ current roster construction thrives on star power and positional versatility, but the center position remains a potential Achilles’ heel. Plumlee brings a steady veteran presence but is limited offensively. Ighodaro, while promising, is a long-term project who might not be ready for significant minutes against top-tier bigs. Is it time to bring in a veteran center and send Oso to the G-League with our exciting Valley Suns?

Unfortunately, this shot needs a lot of work.

Jusuf Nurkić’s return bolsters the starting lineup, but his durability is a constant concern. In games like this, where opponents feature dominant centers, the Suns’ backup rotation feels underwhelming. Plumlee and Ighodaro can thrive in favorable matchups but are not yet reliable against the playoff-caliber competition.

Going back to the draft I think not drafting Kyle Filipowski when we had the chance is really hurting us despite how well Ryan Dunn is playing. Neither Oso nor Plumlee space the floor at all which is not great.

You should never draft for needs (ask the Blazers lol), you draft the best player available and we hit a home run drafting Dunn.
