Any of the top 3 names on this list would be immensely helpful right now...

Hawks need a secondary scorer desperately.

Last game it was Zacch.

It should be Bogi when healthy.

It's occasionally Jalen Johnson.

But we need another Forward capable of putting up points off the bench.

Tobias Harris or Caris Levert, maybe?

Hunter and Bogy just need to play, if they can't, yeah we're in a bind

Caris Levert? A career 43% shooter appeals to you?

Trae has a career 43% field goal. If we continue with these poor shooters we won't ever be good.

Adding Collins back to our rotation would solve quite a bit of our depth/front court issues.

Deni is a wonderful young player who'd thrive in a Quin Snyder offense.

Perfect 6th man and backup forward behind Jalen Johnson.

Another buy low candidate who'd thrive in a lower usage role next to Trae and Jalen?

I was thinking oft-injured Forward DeAndre Hunter straight up...

Houston is trying to win now.

So why would they want an oft-injured guy if he's not going to be available?

A fair question.

I was thinking that a versatile, 6'9" combo forward with above average defense and 3-pt shooting might appeal to them. :dontknow:

They essentially want Jabari to be an uber-productive version of the player DeAndre is now.

Wouldn't the same average defense and 3pt shooting also help the Hawks? Particularly backing up both forwards spots? :)

Maybe...but a $25 million backup player in his prime is less than ideal when the #1 pick in the draft is younger, cheaper and itching for minutes.

Jalen-Zacc-Dyson are the future on the wings.

Meaning DeAndre Hunter is now expendable when the right deal comes along.

It all depends on what the right deal is.
We had $20 mil Gallo and Bogi off the bench not too long ago.

I suppose.

I do believe that Hunter, in his prime, is more valuable to a contender right now.

He'd be amazing next to Jokic in the MPJ role.
Or next to Luka in the Klay role.

Jabari Smith Jr has some serious All Star potential, too. He was in consideration to go #1 overall back in 2022.

Sounds like Brooke could be available sooner than later.

Any interest?

He's on a bargain basement contract and could tackle some of those backup PG minutes pretty effectively or play next to TY.

We have enough bad shooting so no thank you. Donte DiVincenzo is the only big contract they can justify moving.

Luka Garza interest me if we have the minutes for him.
