Demin looks like an NBA vet playing against college kids. Let’s see what happens when they play real teams and he’s schemed for. Right now he’s got to be top 7.

Still not seeing what makes Flagg a consensus #1 overall pick and Buzellis the #11 picks in a weaker draft.

They seem to have the same skills - size, athleticism, defense, ball handling

And the same weaknesses - shooting, turnovers.

Flagg - 19/10/3 on 45/23/78 shooting splts so far in college

Buzelis - 14/6/2 on 45/26/70 shooting splits in his g-league season

Flagg shoots about 4-5 times more per game than Buzelis was.

Matas should have gone to college and played against weaker competition.

Turnovers? That's not a weakness of either guy.

I think Flagg is worth tanking for as a prospect as a guy who could be one of your cornerstones type of potential. I don’t see a savior though.

While it’s not some blow out, Flagg to me looks stronger and more built despite being a bit more than 2 years younger.

For one, Flagg is only 17 right now and will be a year younger than Matas was on draft night.

I wouldn't say they're the same size either. I don't know what Flagg's wingspan is but he has a better frame and is probably stronger than Matas right now. Flagg is a lot better on defense than Matas as well. He handles physicality much better than Matas, has great instincts and gets a ridiculous amount of stocks.

G-league competition is misunderstood. Yes the G-league has more talent than the NCAA. However, they play at a faster pace, there's more spacing because of court dimensions and shooting, and there's a noticeable lack of rim protectors in the G-league. It's easier to score and put up counting stats.

These are Emoni Bates splits at Eastern Michigan. 19.3/1.4/5.8 on 53% TS in 33 minutes.

His splits in the G-league. 21.6/1.9/5.7 on 57.6% TS in 34 minutes.

Airious Bailey had a good first game of the season: 17pts, 6rbs, 2stls, 1blk & 5/10fg.

Dylan Harper continues his strong play: 20pts, 5rbs, 6asts & 2blks.

Mackenzie Mgbako(Indiana) is a prospect that's definitely worth a look.

Certainly is.
Currently around 36 on the draft boards but will climb into 1st round I think if he keeps up this form

As an IU alum I watch every game. He was a Duke commit and McD all American. As a frosh he was underwhelming but you could see an elite 3D wing due to his strong body and quick 3 ball.

He is much improved this season. He has very little outside the shot but he does crash the boards, run the floor well, and cuts well off ball.

I think he will be a late first. He’s alot like JP with a much stronger body and more game.

He’s the biggest riser so far.

His D has been much better than expected.

His IQ is crazy. He’s like Gretzky talking about anticipating where the puck would be hit where it was. This kid looks two moves ahead.

100% agree.

I didn't even know this guy existed before the college season started, he's definitely on my watch list now!

would you draft Dylan Harper while we have Coby and Ayo? Is Harper better than Coby?

What do you do if we’re at #3 and it’s all chalk

Absolutely. I’d draft Demin, Saraf and Riley too because they all play D and show lead guard chops and ceilings.

He seems like a fairly comparable prospect to Cade? I'd imagine he'll take a few years to develop.

The nice thing about Coby is that he is just fine making 3Ps off-the-ball, so there's no guard he can't share the ball with. Any primary ball handler with Harper's size would be a god send, because of Coby's defensive limitations.

Watching the Bailey hightlights makes me genuinely angry that we are not doing a better job of tanking. Im really pissed.
We have Martell Webster. He's called Kyle Korver here, and we shall love him and squeeze him and call him Ashton. -BrooklynBulls
