Probably should’ve saved those assets for a disgruntled star like Giannis.

I'm starting to get worried when things aren't improving until midseason, not after 11 games when 2 Starters are offseason aquisitions and the third one came midseason and missed big parts of that season due to injuries. He looked good in some games, so I still have hope.

Bridges is a player we need to study for years to come. His NBA career is absolutely facilitating. Dude went from a high-level glue guy, to spending 3 months putting up HOF numbers, then directly back to just a high-level glue guy... maybe slightly worse... but still kept all of his trade value of that tiny sliver of time where he played out of his mind...

I never understood why they gave up so much for him. He is a solid player and his contract is very tradeable, but has never been a huge positive impact.

Yep. Mikal is fine and this thread is probably overreacting, but why give up your ability to do this.

Giving up a decades worth of assets for a guy who's not even putting up All Star quality numbers is reason to overreact.

Part of the appeal of the Nova Knicks was that this was supposed to be a seamless fit… agreed with you in general, but the price the Knicks have paid and expedition was not for it to be this bumpy

I figured it was only a matter of time before Bridges would start playing a significantly better brand of basketball. Knicks fans... keep reaping the benefits.

It’s almost as if it takes time for a team to gel when you’re adding 2 new major pieces to a lineup.

Wait, don't you think it's better to come to a final conclusion of how good or bad a trade was after a player on a 3 year contract has played 11 regular season games and none of the traded draft picks have conveyed into anything yet  ?

But, but, I was told that this trade for 5 late 1sts, a late 1st pick swap and doo-doo players were better than Mikal Bridges?
