lol yeah any GM is taking Wemby and it's a no brainer.

I don't think anybody's optinig into their 2-5th players, while sober. Wenby's nice, but there is no proof that a guy built like that wins. Like, he's healthy and on a minutes restriction.

lol and before LeBron, there was no proof someone built like LeBron wins.

Some players are considered generational for a reason.

So, the standard is he needs to be as good as Luka in year 2 to be considered an "offensive" player? lol that makes like what? 5 of those guys in the entire league?

If he's so good, why are they 10th in the west.

Giannis is averaging 33 and 12 but his team is 4-8, does that make him not so good as well?

The Jazz getting a win is a big W for the tank.

Luka with an insane stat line.

whatever he gets, he's just giving right back at the other end.

Anyway, hyped to see if Ace plays tonight. Really think he's my pick as top prospect. A guy with his size/athleticism/shooting/natural scoring mentality is gonna be an absolute terror at the next level. And it's not as if he doesn't board on both ends and defend too. People overthinking it on him.

A clear bottom 5 in the league is starting to establish itself. Toronto/Utah/Washington/Philly/New Orleans occupy the bottom 5 of the league both in team record and net rating. Sixers and Pelicans could both be surprise 2024 Memphis-type tankers this season.

But, if he can't will them to wins...why am I picking their starting five over ours with a top pick? Plus, Giannis has a ring. I'm not even sure Wemby is capable of leading a team to the playoffs. It's the same thing as Chet, these guys aren't built to lead teams. It's a durability thing. Rookies shouldn't have a minutes restriction, that doesn't get better over time.

lmao because that one player is significantly better than all of ours combined including any top pick.

The ceilings of all these players aren't even close. Wemby's ceiling is a top 5 player all-time.

He was on a minutes restriction because of an ankle injury and then it got lifted later in the year. He still played 30 mpg last year and is over that this year, very odd you're making that an issue.

It's both hilarious and sad that last night wasn't even the middle of November and I was already scoreboard watching for the tank.

Guys his height have like an 8 year career on average iirc. Typically their first five years are their best. It's all the bone on bone injures, they pile up.

Hoping for a loss tonight but I can see us beating DET at home unless more shenanigans happens.

Ok so pass up on generational talent because he "might" get hurt, cool.

Odds are almost exactly the same for the bottom 3 teams. All three teams have the same odds for picks 1/2/3/4. Only difference is that the last place team is guaranteed a top 5 pick, the 2nd worst team can fall to 6, the 3rd worst team can fall to 7th.

the east is so weak that Sixers will still be able to make the playoffs....Pelicans are in the west so they're screwed.

Sixers scare me as they might punt this season at this rate
2019 Eastern Conference All Stars

Derozan
Lowry
Ibaka
Valanciunas
Van Vleet
Delon Wright
Lebron
Embiid

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

I’d be shocked if they punt

Pick is only top 6 protected
They are $10m in tax
George is 34
Every game could be Embiid’s last

it would be great if we lose this detroit game. I dont care if it's the NBA bowl or whatever. Let any dreams and motivation they have for winning die this season.
