Everytime someone sets a pick for him, it lets him see how the defense reacts and what choices they make... which part of the floor do they leave open and which guy do they refuse to leave. The more you screen for Dame, the more he is going to dissect them as the game goes on.

Giannis has none of that none... he's a slithery battering ram and just as likely to dunk and he is to get a charge or hurt himself dribbling into people... GA should set the screen and leak away into the paint --- work on your 6 ft paint shot or just take it in strong like normal.

Dame is dumb player who absolutely wets himself when double teamed. He's not a PG, he's just a scoring guard.

As if Dame wasn't constantly getting double teamed in Portland, seems to have made a career out of it to be honest. This is a guy with a career 2.5:1 A/TO ratio, what are you even talking about?

Can't wait for Dame to be back next game, hard to talk bad about a guy when he puts up 30 points on 60% TS lol.

I would go as far as to say Dame is one of the smartest offensive players in the league, watching him operate is pretty incredible.

I'm watching the end of the game on the Pistons stream and the announcers never even thought the refs were considering a foul on the lob pass lol. They were like "I guess they're looking to see if there's any time left for the Bucks to inbound it, but with no timeouts, it doesn't really make a lot of sense; great play by Giannis to deflect the pass though or Holland might have been able to finish that."

For all that trade Dame talk, my biggest concern was the easy way Boston exploited him in the fourth quarter. They initiated switches until they had that matchup. It was really obvious they pursued that play.

This is a good point, but most teams have this issue. We got Jrue switched onto Brook and Giannis several times vs them the other day too

The problem with Dame is that when he's forced to work on defense he becomes useless on offense.

Useless is a weird word. The ONLY time Dame seems mitigated is when teams trap the ball out of his hands early and Brook or Pat take that as licence to fire up so YOLO 3s instead of get Dame the ball again.

Rephrase.. Dame is mitigated by the Bucks, his own team, more than the other team doing anything

Boston wanted those matchups. Jrue is a good defender, Dame, not so much.
