Day of the Jackal with Eddie Redmayne -- watch it if/when you can. Only 5/10 episodes so far. It's a superb cat-and-mouse miniseries based on the Frederick Forsyth novel set in contemporary Europe.

Sounds good. It's actually not available in the US until next week when it will be on peacock.

Easily one of the best things to come out on TV/streaming this year.

Yellowstone final season starts tonight. Such a great series and sad to see it end, but I know it will be epic.

I watched the first five episodes over the weekend. Pretty good so far, though this genre is pretty flooded and they all tend to be a bit same same I find.

One episode left of Bad Monkey on Apple TV - it's really good (as are most Apple series)!

Penguin finale aired last night on HBO. Highly recommended.

It's not really a superhero show at all, and it doesn't feel like a DC show either.

It's a mafia crime drama. And an excellent one.

Yellowstone, Bad Sisters, Silo, Outlander all coming back this month! Likely picking up Dune Prophecy, The Agency, and Cross as well.

Agree with bisme37, The Penguin finale (and miniseries overall) was really well done.

Just started The Morning Show - anyone watch? I'm only about halfway through episode 1 but so far so good. It's got an awesome cast.

Strong first season. Downhill from there. Still watching but pretty much lost interest after S2.

I really enjoyed this. It's one season and I doubt there will be more. It felt complete at the end, which I also really appreciated.
We won it for Al!!!

Red Eye, a British political thriller with Richard Armitage (Spooks, Hobbit movies) and Jing Lusi (Gangs of London), was pretty engaging. Reminded me a bit of Idris Elba's series, Hijack, but with a foreign/diplomatic relations angle. Quick watch, just six episodes.

Movie recs: Lee with Kate Winslet (biopic about WWII photojournalist Lee Miller), A Different Man with Sebastian Stan, and Caddo Lake with Dylan O'Brien (a bit confusing, needs extra attention).

I just read Amazon is shutting down Freevee, their free streaming site with ads. Kind of a bummer.

Little German show called Where's Wanda on Apple. A comedic mystery. It's not getting good reviews at all so I excepted to turn it off after a few minutes, but I watched the whole thing and really don't know what's wrong with it haha. Fun, likable characters, solid plot. The English dubbing is quite good as well.

Ey, Cross on Prime Video has been surprisingly good. Six episodes in so far. I thought it was gonna be a ep-by-ep procedural. It isn't. Centers around Alex Cross trying to nail this serial killer and find a kidnapped woman as he deals with some personal **** of his own. Stars Aldis Hodge from Leverage and City on a Hill.
